Epic Event Center — Local services in Robins

We used Epic for our daughter's wedding. This is what you will get if you use Epic for your event. Communication - Karen and her staff were phenomenal. From our first meeting almost a year ago. To the weeks and days before the wedding. To the day of... Karen was in constant communication with us, making sure our requests were received. Attention - Karen and her staff were onsite with us when we set up the day before, at 8:00am when we arrived the day of and 9:00am the day after to tear down and gather our things. Karen made sure we had specific alcohol a week before the wedding. She monitored the wedding party making sure everyone was eating and drinking water while getting ready and during pictures. She helped organize the wedding precession, monitored the bar budget, guarded the cards and gifts table and so so much more. Customer Service - Karen gave the MOB, FOB, Bride and Groom a ride out after the wedding. She even helped tear down the day after and was personally cleaning bathrooms when we arrived. Safety - Karen allows you to leave your car overnight. She even puts a Starbucks gift card on each car left overnight as a thank you for not driving. Gifts and cards were stored in a locked room that is also camera monitored. Location and size - The location of Epic is very conveniently located just off of County Home Road. The parking lot had plenty of spaces and the building comfortably held our almost 300 people. There was a coat room so there wasn't anything hanging off of chairs. There is an outdoor space for your ceremony if you want. The Bridal Suite was big enough for our 10 gals including make-up and hair artists. The Gentleman's room had games and couch for comfort. The bar was huge and Karen staffed accordingly. Nobody waited longer than 2 minutes for a drink. The restrooms were appropriately sized and had enough stalls that you never had to wait in line. There is a separate "Family" restroom with a shower and baby changing station.

Words can not describe how happy we were with our son and new daughter-in-laws wedding ceremony and reception this past weekend. We battled Covid uncertainties, heat, storms and multiple power outages (because of the storms) and I can still say that everything was better than we had ever imagined. Karen and the team at Epic are second to none. When you look up Customer Service in the dictionary, I think there is a picture of the Epic Event Center. They are very open at talking about what will work and things that can present challenges. They made us feel safe with our 300 guests during this pandemic and did a great job of making sure all procedures from food lines and table placements were in accordance with local health department guidelines. Their ideas, which we used many of, were all based on past wedding successes, so you aren't just paying for a location to have your reception and/or ceremony, you are getting great advice and consultation too. We chose to have an outdoor wedding, but with high heat and humidity and storms rolling in, the staff was prepared to convert the reception hall into the ceremony hall in a moments notice. They have thought of everything. At the end of a long day, they take care of so much of the clean-up and prepare you to come back the next day to finish picking up everything and help with this as well. When renting this location, I really feel like you are getting 3 days of amazing consultation, customer service and one of the most beautiful, classy and clean locations to have a wedding. And one final touch...for those that make the right choice to not drive home if they've had a few too many, they encourage you to leave your vehicle and come pick it up the next day. Some of our guests that chose to do this found a note and gift card from Panera on their windshield thanking them for making the choice to not drive home. My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Epic Event Center yesterday. The day was amazing, and the staff helped everything go so smoothly. The owner, Karen, is so attentive to the needs of the wedding party but also the guests. Karen helped coordinate the rehearsal as well as during the wedding ceremony itself. The staff took care of every detail: making sure guests were seating in time for the ceremony, unity candles are lit, head tables are moved in for the reception, etc. They made sure to have additional kegs of beer on hand to make sure our guests were taken care of (we ended up needing the extra :) ). They were flexible with options of what we wanted to provide free to our guests. They had plenty of bartenders available. We had originally had a date 5 months earlier but had to postpone due to Covid. The transition was seemless and Karen was such a helpful resource while we worked on changing the details of the day. She responds timely to any questions. The venue itself is amazing. Bridal suite had plenty of room, light, and mirrors. The groomsmen had their own area to get ready, and included an area for kids to spend time with games and a photo booth. The bathrooms are large and clean. Lots of parking available, and outdoor area with gazebo and willow tree and pond are perfect for plenty of photos opps. They take great pride in their business and you can tell by the...
