Korey is great to work with and is very detail oriented. He takes great pride in his work!
Korey has restored two of my family heirloom sewing machines which were passed down to me. My grandmother’s pedal sewing machine is a Singer 1908 model. It was brittle and falling apart. Korey rebuilt and replaced veneer where needed. We had the stand powered coated and he gold leafed SINGER and the emblems on the side.
My aunts machine is a SINGER 1929 model. It was in worse shape. It was falling apart and painted. The drawers had been taken off at some point. Korey basically rebuilt the cabinet, replaced the veneer, and built drawers for it. He also gold leafed the stand.
Thank you Korey for giving me back two beautiful pieces of my family heritage. My mother would be so proud. She always wanted to have them restored.
I bought my dining set 37 years ago. The table finish was good, but the chairs were very worn. Korey stripped the chairs and refinished them. Perfect match! Now my dinning set...
Read moreI have an old wooden desk chair. Not sure how old, as I have had it close to 50 years, and it looked old when I bought it. I use it daily at a similar vintage roll top desk at my home.
I tried to replace the casters about a year ago, as the chair was becoming difficult to roll on our carpet, and the new casters just made it worse. I thought the casters were defective, as we kept finding little ball bearings in the carpet.
Out of shear frustration, I called Korey, and described the issue.
His response: "No problem, drop it off and I'll get it fixed." I bought a new set of casters and left them with the chair.
Long story short, I am currently sitting in that chair as I type this review. The casters roll across the carpet without a problem.
The solution was to plug the old holes in the legs of the chair and redrill them to install the new casters.
And very affordable, I might add.
Korey clearly knows what he's doing and delivers...
Read moreI contacted Korey to paint a bed frame, two nightstands, two chests, and stain a rocking chair. They all had wear and tear. We are moving into a new home and we were wondering if Korey could make the furniture look fresh and beautiful. Korey communicated well and was really easy to work with. He was careful to make sure he knew what our expectations were for the furniture and he paid attention to details such as our preferred paint colors and stains. Our furniture was finished in a timely manner. It now has a flawless new finish. I read the reviews before I contacted Korey for the job. I could see that he was good at what he does but now that he’s finished, I can honestly say he surpassed my expectations!! I highly recommend Korey for any/all of your furniture...
