Where to start. Sometimes we don't realize how we will handle things until we are tasked with them, but I have to say that the Dignity team at Memorial Park made this experience very bearable. My parents had previously made an investment on their own behalf which I came to realize was the best decision ever due to current cost increases for starters. However, simply having the opportunity to review details my Dad had made for himself was comforting to see since he wasn't physically present now. It felt like he was there in spirit since he had made these decisions long ago. This team went above and beyond to make sure we reviewed each detail; we probably would have missed without their help. They thought of every detail from the opening and closing; to the lowering of casket and making sure there was enough space and protection for it. We had never been through the process so we dreaded it; however it was comforting to have Manuel and his team supporting us every step of the way. The day of my Dad's homegoing was so personable and my family was very honored by how much respect the team provided and how much attention was given to the family. I went ahead and made my decision to invest in my own personal estate at the park. I want to make sure my children are left prepared with the best team and the least amount of stress like I was thankful to have after losing my Dad. I am confident I made the right choice, especially because I know my Dad trusted them. Thank...
Read moreOur experience at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Park was incredibly disappointing and added unnecessary stress during an already devastating time for our family. One of the staff members, Domingo, was unprofessional, insensitive, and lacking in compassion — qualities that are especially important when working with grieving families.
Domingo refused to honor a quote that had been previously provided to us by another staff member. When we brought this up, rather than assisting us with understanding or resolution, he attempted to pressure and intimidate us. What was even more troubling was that he spoke poorly of his own colleague, claiming they “didn't know what they were doing,” which only created more confusion and distrust.
In a place that should be built on trust, empathy, and support, Domingo’s behavior was the exact opposite. Families come to Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Park in their most vulnerable moments, and they deserve to be treated with dignity and respect — not made to feel like they’re being taken advantage of.
We sincerely hope management addresses this issue and ensures that no other family is treated the way we were. Compassion, consistency, and professionalism must be a priority for every person walking...
Read moreMy son was having an issue leaving the gravesite. The gentleman that were there to lower the casket into the ground stood by quietly and respectfully. When my son son asked if he could lower his grandmother into the grave, they obliged and showed him what to do. They did stand by and assisted when necessary, but it was a wonderful experience for him and gave him the peace of knowing she was at peace and safely and respectfully laid to rest. They gave him the opportunity to have that last moment which gave him the closure he needed. I appreciate them so much for their patience with him and their respect towards him in such a difficult situation....
