Market Basket — Local services in Rochester

I always love shopping market basket. It's easy to see why, the place is staffed with helpful and friendly people who are always giving their best effort in every respect, as well as the wonderful selection of Fresh Donuts, Fritters, Cookies, ect. at UNBEATABLE prices! Great prices on all kinds of things, I can often make about 35 to 50 meals out of 200$! Just smart use of the freezer, and a constant use of the kitchen is all it takes lol. Even today shopping in the night leading up to the awful huricane, they were not only stocked, but WELL stocked!! Add on top of that, that you can NOT beat the PREMIUM QUALITY of the Market Basket brand, How can you beat it? Seriously not to harp on it, and those who know - know the donuts here put even legendary shops like Condones to shame in my opinion, Do boy Is a close second but couple that with the simple fact that you are shopping without having to pay the Maine state tax, as a shapleigh resident there is not much else I can say, all and all the best overall place to shop, lowest prices, best service. Not sure how the update works but the shelves are getting bare in some areas of the store. I liked things better when the USA was exporting oil under the former administration. Prices for food are rising and it is because higher energy costs get spread out across the board.

Let's go for it. Food prices are way up as the price of gasoline and diesel increase. Let's just hope we don't have a cold winter. Thank you Brandon.

I had purchased roast beef and the day after I opened it it stunk so I returned it and that would be at least the 2nd item I had to return. Purchased a frozen seafood item a couple of weeks ago and didn't deem it necessary to save the receipt,when I opened it yesterday it stunk terrible and it was frozen,I called MB and they refused to do anything for me cause I didn't save my receipt. They pull out pallets stacked high with items to stock the cases and the frozen items are starting the thawing process and the items that have started to thaw get re frozen again which changes the taste and texture. For some time now this location has been sub standard as far as refrigerated foods go,they are slacking when it comes to stocking as well,I will never shop...
