Have been there for two tournaments this year. Parking lot is a mud hole, gravel doesn't cost that much. We played on field 5 mostly, and home plat is about 3 inches lower than the field around it. The dugouts are horrifically designed. The walls are constructed like a privacy fence on three sides, with little or no gap between the boards, which doesn't allow any air flow. There is no exits or doorways in the dugouts to outside the playing field to allow for players to use the restroom between innings. The porta potties were filthy. And last but no least, the refused to let parents bring in coolers when it was near 100 degrees out. Apparently, the entry fee for the teams and the admission fees weren't enough, now they wanted to gouge you for water too.
Put a little money back in the place, lord knows there is enough made at these...
Read moreHorrible facilities and very poorly run tournaments. Despite collecting fees from teams to participate in the tournaments AND charging an entry fee for every one to watch the games, it is clear that none of the money is being reinvested in the facility. The parking lot is so bad it is dangerous to drive and walk through. The dug outs are all rotten and falling down. The bathrooms are dirty, smell horrible and have no ventilation. There is no shade at all. The tournament umpires are no older than 14 and don’t know the rules of baseball.
We will never choose to attend a tournament here again. There are much better options with organizations that have standards and actually care about providing a good experience for...
Read moreThere's a reason they named this "Hitmen" field. When all four fields are in play, there's a great chance you'll get creamed by a foul ball. All four home plates are within a few hundred feet of each other (and in some cases less than 100)- and although you can be alert for foul balls coming from your home field, it's impossible to be alert to foul balls coming at you from the other fields behind you. I was creamed by a ball that came from behind, and my husband almost took an incoming as well. During our tournament, we had at least 50 foul balls fall within several feet of us. It's not if but when a baby is going to get knocked out on that field. Beware! Also, I agree with the nasty...
