would give a 4.5 if i could, only reason being is on busy nights (almost every night), they will send through up to 7 people even if your not in a group like that. i went with my friend, and we barely got scared the first 2-3 haunted houses.
we got to the new monster mansion, and respectfully asked the staff who lets you in if we could go in first. He said yes without a doubt, and we got so scared... best part of this creepyworld trip forsure! great new design for replacing the krampus which was no where near as scary as the new monster mansion is.
for the rest of the time, we still politely asked if we could go in first (or alone), every staff said yes! they wanted you to have a good time clearly. not to mention all the actors were funny too as they were scary. EX: I walked through the high school haunted house, and when i opened these strips, i saw this dude just staring at me, I let out a "oh, sht, f* you!!" (he didnt even try to scare me either), and he just said back "ahh, f** you too!" which i thought was absolutely hilarious... such a great time here if your not getting sent in with huge groups. if you like a good scare, try asking to be let in first in the group and it will not disappoint!!
also, hayride was a bit underwhelming. it was still creepy, they got on the trailer and tried their best to scare the people on it, but the people were just not being panicked. it made it feel like it wasnt the experience it should be, but i also feel like it was just the crowd i was with on the ride. actors did a great job, just the people werent getting creeped out. its also a short ride. probably 5 minutes max. but the environment is still really cool, everything they put up made it feel like you were actually going through a creepy town with a bunch of different actors.
one more thing, do the jack-o-lantern spooktacular if you want to see some cool decorations and animatronics, bunch of pumpkins and cool lighting/environment. really did a great job on that. i think scarefest definitely puts the most amount of effort into creepyworld than they do the others, but that being said, still go see darkness and lemp brewery. i went to both last year and overall it was a bigger scare than creepyworld!
to sum it up, if your new to haunted houses or get scared very easily, go to creepyworld first. you will have a great time, whether someone brought you into it without wanting to go, or your thinking its not going to be great, STILL GO! amazing place and im glad i get to experience it every year.
WE LOVE...

We came last year and we were debating on trying a different haunted house but decided on coming because on their website it says: "Creepyworld has to be totally renovated for the celebration of FEAR! We decided to add new props, scenes, animations to nearly every single haunted house inside Creepyworld."
So we thought totally renovated?? Awesome lets see what they did! But it really just felt the same as last year.
Yes they added 2 new houses bobo's slaughter house and Fright High plus the live stage show. But It didn't feel really unique I don't know if they shortened previous houses but I felt like I went through those houses so fast.
We went Saturday 10/07/23 we were in line for about 50 minutes without fast pass which we were okay with because we thought the live show thing would be cool. Seems like they did a little show every 15 minutes but the crowd was so loud and not engaging I felt kinda bad for the cast but I thought it was a cool addition.
The power went out 2 times luckily it happened to us right at the end of 2 different houses. Kinda lose the illusion when it happens.
This year sadly I only got scared 1 time
Couple notes for future attendees who haven't been here before some of their actors do yell directly in ears, and run chainsaws next to ears. We knew this going into it so we were okay with it but if you have sensitive ears be aware if its on accident or otherwise it happened a few times to us this year and last year.
That being said I still enjoy this haunted house and will probably visit it again but will delay for 5 or more years. But if your a yearly attendee hoping for major changes...
Read moreBooo. And not like a ghost says. Parking was an absolute nightmare. None of the ENORMOUS group of parking attendants waving glowing batons seemed to have any clue what they were doing and they were all just shouting "turn left!!" at the top of their lungs at each car. After that, we saw the line was enormous, so we thought we'd go to the ticket booth and upgrade the tickets we bought online for the speed passes. Ended up waiting almost an hour in the ticket line to find out that they had raised prices and posted new ones hand-written on paper over the posters and there was only ONE person working the ticket booth! Maybe some of those parking maniacs should have been working tickets? One guy. For real. My biggest complaint was how many people they would shove together in a group and send through the haunts. We ended up in a group of 15 that was made of us, and the two groups of six in front and behind us. 15 people in a group?? I understand the lines were long, but getting sandwiches between two large groups that should have each been sent alone is just ridiculous- especially for the ticket prices. I also don't see how the lines took over an hour if they were forcing people through so fast. I would imagine it should be one thing or the other, not both. The only good thing to be said here is that they had some really cool set pieces, but they pushed people through so fast you couldn't even really appreciate the more elaborate rooms. There were a couple of enthusiastic actors, but mostly it was people with empty plastic gas cans banging them on walls and a couple of disassembled chainsaws for the sake of chainsaws. The website advertised food trucks. This is not true. All they have to eat on site is donuts warmed up by the kid at the merch stand. Just an overall horrible experience. Save your money for something else. This...
