WML Beach 3 - Private Beach — Local services in Rockaway Township

MOST PRIVATE AND SECLUDED Beach ⛱️ in White Meadow Lake.

There's two roofed areas: one with picnic tables, close to the lake; and the other's higher up, next to the restrooms (which are barely open), bigger, more for parties, but needs a little TLC.

SOME BENCHES: one or two at the smoking spot, closer to entrance; and other two along the side of the lake, get a beautiful view or the lake, near the PAID Canoe 🛶 Holding area. *Nearly impossible to reserve/rent a spot tho... The same WML Residents keep their spots. You have to pay for a spot and you also need a sticker to place on your canoe.

NICE AREA TO BRING YOUR KIDS— There's a little playset/areas: 3 swings & metal slide; sea-saw on the other side; something you can sit in, someone spin you around, get dizzy, a headache, and puke 😵‍💫🙃🤭; some other "toys".

GOOD AREA TO BRING YOUR CANOE 🛶— Especially for beginners. You can push yourself, or have someone help you, into the lake from the Beach.

Lakes not in the best condition tho. 😬😒😶‍🌫️ Heard it was closed all 2023 Summer due to having to "clean" it, but that's all I'm saying on that. You do need to be a WML Resident and have Beach Passes to use it, BUT Residents do have "Guest Passes" to invite family/friends.

NICE AREA FOR DOGS 🐕— to run around in, but I'm pretty sure they're NOT aloud on the Beach ⛱️ and definitely have to be on lease. Remember I was yelled at few years back for my German Shepherd; 🐕 having fun, throwing sticks in the water. BUT, I've seen numerous people with their 🐕🐕🐕 on Beach 3.

^I personally don't see a problem IF the 🐕🐕🐕s are friendly, you can control them, and obviously the owner cleans up...

This beach is by far the dirtiest of all 3 in WML. You'll hardly ever see anyone swimming in this part of the lake. You can see the sewerage pipe running off into the lake, as well.

It'd be perfect for dogs though. If only they were allowed on the beach. :-/ Maybe I should get a petition started to transform Beach 3 into a pet/dog friendly beach...

As a resident, it upsets me to say these things, but it's only the truth; just...

You have to be a White Meadow Lake resident to go to this private beach. My husband and I like going to Beach 3 when we want some peace and quiet. Very nice place to relax. I still love going to Beach 1 which is the biggest of the 3 beaces. . Beach 2 is small...
