On Saturday, May 8, 2021 we called Blain Farm and Fleet to make sure they were able to sell a utility trailer they had in stock. (they had 4 in stock to be exact) We were told yes indeed we can sell you this trailer. My husband inquired again and said are you sure because we were told by other retailers they are not able to sell trailers right now due to a stop hold by the state due to registration issue. The said person on the phone said yes absolutely we are not like other retailers. This seeming too easy my husband asked to speak with a manager. He was told they cannot transfer him so he'd have to call back and ask for Steve. So he hung up and called right back, requested the manager Steve and inquired again if this trailer could be sold same day and picked up same day. We were driving two hours for this trailer and didn't want to waist our time or theirs. We go there and immediately asked for help to see the trailer. A floor person took us outside to view them and they indeed did have them in stock and put together. We took pictures of the vin #, and upc code for the cashier. This floor person said go to any register. After shopping for other items we got in "any line" as we were told to do. Well that was wrong. We held up the line for this cashier to figure out that we needed to go to customer service. So we paid the $270 to this cashier then went to customer service to wait in line again to buy the trailer. No big deal, everyone was busy. One girl was able to assist so they needed to find her. Once found we paid the money for the trailer, over $2,000. She took my ID and last four of social security number. The entire process now seemed on track. She said 10-15 minutes. So my husband went to the truck, moved it around to the gate for pick up and I was instructed to sit in the chairs by the door. I was told 10-15 minutes. After waiting 45 I inquired as to what could be going on and told they had no idea they needed to find Cailyn (no clue is this is the right spelling) Cailyn came down and said there is an issue and my manager is offering you a $30 gift card for waiting so long. I chuckled and said you offered me one for $25 for buying the trailer alone and now giving me $5 additional for this lenghty process? She said let me find out what's going on. She came down after 15 more minutes and said Steve is on the phone on hold with the state trying to figure out the issue. Here is where i'm frustrated. The same EXACT issue we had called about and gave details to Steve about was not the issue that Blains was having. She said, "save it for my manager i've heard this from you already." her exact words. She walked about and started talking to another customer service representative about myself and my husband in a negative way. (my husband had come back in now after waiting over an hour in the truck) I was not angry, loud or rude. We simply stated, "if this isnt' going to be able to be done asap please refund our money. We never would have driving the 2 hours out there had we been told this could not be sold. " Cailyn went to get Steve. Steve was clearly very rude and reminded us that they are not Home Depot whom we had reference on our phone call with him earlier. We had very clearly said HD is not able to sell trailers right now due to the state so are you sure you can selling them? No one else we had been to was able to. We reminded him our our conversation two hours prior. The only response he could give us was that they are not home depot. Our money was refunded, that wasn't even the point we knew we would get our money back. The customer service and management was horrible!!!! I will tell everyone about this experience to avoid them any similar instances. We did not get an apology, no...

Auto department had one front desk person just moving as slow as anyone could possibly move without getting fired. But, How could he get fired when there is no supervisor within department. Seven people in line, no welcoming or statement to say, will be with you as soon as possible or anything. Four auto workers stood by blue Ford truck talking while many customers stood in line waiting. I waited 32 minutes standing and line never moved.
One heavy set young white male auto worker staired at us(customers)for about 12minutes and finally came inside. We all thought he was gonns help and did not. Looked at papers on wall and one customer asked all he need was a slip to give his battery core back and he kinda ignored him and said I dont know and walked out to the Auto shop. He then walked out to cars outside and I watched him. He walked around card and did nothing. He walked back inside and stood back by the Blue Truck.
I was going buy 5 New tires and I got very angry and told the young guy at counter and the guy with the battery said you guys have a very horrible work ethic and need to be let go. We left along witg one other customer.
We saw and heard a Oriellys employee delivery driver ask why do you guys order all these parts and dont use them? He stated you waist alot if time and bring our numbers down because you dont know what correct parts to order for cars. He was very nice and I just pointed at the workers and said no way and hell you will ever work on my car.
This place needs revamping. So, So Angry about all these horrible workers and business. It wasa waist of my time and apart of...
Read moreWorst experience ever!!!! My family and I drove an hour away from Mchenry to go to the farm & fleet in Rockford to get a mower because the Woodstock one was out of stock. While we were browsing the mowers this lady who worked there stood by us. She didn't inform is on any of the mowers there or suggest anything. When my father in law found one he liked and we had told her we wanted this mower that was $2400 she just walked away. Didn't try up selling any trailers or a warranty to go with it. Which we were super disappointed about. We ended up taking the display mower (because they didn't have any other ones in the back) up to the cashier. While we were checking out she also didn't offer a warranty for this expensive lawn mower. She was completely clueless! When we finished paying the lady who stood by us looking at the mower came back with an attitude with the what looked like a manager. We obviously weren't happy with the very poor service we received. We had our truck and trailer all ready to go at the front and they got pissy when we told them that its stupid to have it brought to the back and load it in the back of the store. When we couldn't fit it through the door we agreed to have them bring it in back. The "manager" said he will have it in the loading dock and help us out. When we got back there he was out there with the mower and as we pulled up to it he completely walked away and made us load it all by our selves. Farm & Fleet needs to re-train their employees to have a friendlier staff and try and make the customers happy and inform them better about their own products. Because of this we will not be wasting our time coming back...
