Springfield is an over priced HOA. They charge monthly fees and the transfer fees of ($250) is even worse. They then use an outside agent that charges $420 for documents that should be readily available. It is only worse since you also have to pay Whitney Oaks HOA fees so it doubles all fees as you have to pay both associations. To transfer a house through escrow it is $1350 which is more than title itself. The company that you pay $840 to for the documentation to close escrow it takes 10 business days to get the documents. This community is quiet, friendly and quit beautiful! The amenities are excellent! What a nice community to retire in. Some of the property views are spectacular especially from the deck of the pool area. Sunsets are amazing. There are plenty of parking spots that are well lit and sizes are large for large SUVs. The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable about the activities and going ONS in the area. The HOA is very reasonable and frankly cheap for a location like this and in California. Good facilities and competent staff. Increasing fees every year with two HOA bills totaling $270 per month (2025). Really noisy near the club house every morning with gas powered leaf blowers that start at 7AM. Difficult and ambiguous process to improve any aspect of external home improvements. Many many rules, and no drive to improve efficiency. Safe and secure...
