Candy Apple Custom Collision — Local services in Rockmart

Had an accident on Christmas Day and decided to go here based on the good reviews and by a few other people that have used their services. My appointment for drop off was the end of January I was asked by Candy Apple if my appointment could be pushed out a couple weeks. I said sure no problem and they explained there were a lot of wrecks from the bad weather. No big deal my truck was still drivable and I understand other peoples vehicles may not have been. I dropped off early February and things began moving. The left side outer bed panel had to be replaced and this required the bed to be removed for the repair. A couple weeks later I was told it’s ready for pick up. When I arrived to pick it up I noticed right away the paint had really bad swirl marks in it from buffing it. It was pulled back in the shop to run the buffer on it a little more. Ten minutes later I was told the buffer burned through the clear coat and it had to be painted again. Pretty frustrated at this point. Left it there and went home. After about a week I was called again and said it was ready for pick Up. This time when I arrived I looked very closely at the whole job. Now I see the replacement bed panel did not line up like before the repair. There was white overspray on my sprayed in bed liner and you could see the tape lines on the trim that now had white paint on them. All I got was “sorry you’re not happy with it”. Later after looking for a noise in the right rear I found the passenger side bed mounting bolts loose with one ready to fall out. Wiring harnesses were not clipped up, screws were missing from a fender liner and some really crappy welds underneath. I brought the loose bolts and missing screws to their attention and sent pics. They asked me to bring it back so they can fix it. No way, they already had it twice and this was the best they could do. I trusted them to do a good job....

(Update Review and work on my car ) 3 weeks ago I took in my car due to a tractor trailer throwing up rocks, cracking my windshield and my front camera on my front bumper and leaving dings on my front of my car. I ended up dealing with Brianna, Corey, and Amanda. I Can't say enough about this body shop and repair facility. First, I must commend the paint job. The paint job came back to me in a flawless fashion. They went over and beyond the call of duty to make sure that everything on my car was perfect. They did not skimp. They did not Bondo my car. They replaced everything that needed to be replaced with new parts or repair the existing part and made sure that my car was whole for its brand new status. I can't say enough about this location. If you're looking for a repair facility that does it all. This is the place to go people. This is me and my husband's unfortunate but FORTUNATE fourth time taking our vehicles to this location and our cars have came out perfect. THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS!
