I love coming here any tjme of the year, the stones are beautifully round. The best thing to do is get close to the water, relax for a bit, close your eyes and just hear the magnificent sound the waves make when they hit the rocks. Enjoy the hypnotic crashing of waves on rocks. Listening to this for even a few minutes will bring you to a calmer state of mind. Pebble Beach, at the end of South Street, leaves no doubt as to why it is so named. Pebbles and stones cover this beach; however, they are not rough and jagged, but smooth and rounded as a result of the constant tidal motion. Sunbathe long enough and you just might see a diver in pursuit of an ocean atmosphere or a friendly seal playing in the waves. Waves come, transient yet always there, rising, falling. They scatter the light, the hue of the water ever changing yet always familiar, always blue. How could I fail to love them as they dance inward to crash on the pebbles? How could I fail to appreciate the salty air or the cold caress of the breeze? They are stalwarts of this ocean-side life, present and passing, always the same and never.

I love this little beach. It so peaceful and I love all the rocks everywhere. It's really not a Beach for swimming, in my eyes because of all the rocks but it's absolutely Beautiful just to sit and enjoy how it looks and listen to the beautiful sound of the small waves splashing up on the shore. I think that it may also be private or semi private. Thank You God for all the Beauty that you have given us. Your work always blows me away. 🙏💜

I love pebble beach. You can park there for free unlike the beaches down the road in Gloucester and if you just want quiet time by the ocean you can set up a chair on the pebble rocks and relax to ocean waves. You dont have to carry your chair far so its really a relaxing expetience. Low key. Turn off the main road by cape hedge motel, go as far straight as you can, then at the end take the curve in the road to free ocean side parking....harder to get in peak season prime hours though but it...

Found this place because on Sunday good harbor beach was resident only parking. Decided to search for another beach as two were close by just eastward. This one had Ample parking along the sand and no charge! however keep in mind there are no beach vendors, or bathroom, however there was a lot of room and had nice views of the coast as well as views of pebble beach, good harbor beach and long Beach . Not as populated as other beaches. Had a great time and would come back. Quiet and...
