When you first enter, it’s like traveling back in time to a simpler era. Old-fashioned heart-filled customer service. My wife and I were eager to stop by. We had an All the Way dog, chili & cheese dog, and a Wadmaslaw dog. Simple ingredients, but mighty delicious. It’s hard to find food made with love anymore, but you’ll find it here. We decided to get a side of “Grandaddy’s Chicken Salad” and man oh man am I glad we did. It was simply SPECTACULAR. The best chicken salad I’ve had in my entire life. So much so that we went right back in for seconds lol. My wife hates celery typically, but miraculously they were able to make her gobble it right up in this chicken salad. She usually picks around it! There is so many options for local produce/goods. I chatted with the owner for a while, and he is the most down to earth, friendliest owner I’ve ever spoke with at a business. We felt welcomed and at home. Even though we’re from out of state, we will most definitely be going back before our long trek home. Please support this family owned business and may God bless and keep...

Visited this lovely and quaint “country store”/grocery during a stay on Wadmalaw Island on our way to the Rockville rental home we stayed at. I love the local art, textiles, and local goods for sale here, along with the incredible food and BBQ that can’t be missed! We picked up 2lbs of barbecue to take back to our rental house, and I swear it was all gobbled up and gone in under 5 minutes and everyone absolutely loved it. This is a very special and unique place run by a family who clearly pours love into the store and the products they sell! Don’t miss it! Stepping in here takes you back to a simpler time and Makes you feel welcome like a...
Read moreHeard about this place via Instagram. Loved it. Bought some tomatoes, squash, butterbeans and corn on the cob. Also some beautiful peaches. Our Sunday supper is going to be ridiculous. Lots of fresh produce and a small selection of essential grocery items. They also have a small food counter with a selection of sandwiches, hotdogs and bbq sammies. Did not get anything to eat this time but definitely going to next trip. The folks who own the place are really sweet. I love supporting a local business and will be coming back soon. Y'all please go drive out there and support this place. The drive...
