Bowling Center — Local services in Rocky Mount

I don’t usually leave reviews, but my experience at this bowling alley was disappointing enough that I feel it needs to be shared. The manager, Dottie, was extremely rude and unprofessional.

I raised a valid concern after noticing an employee handling pizzas without gloves and even picking up cheese from the counter with bare hands before putting it back on the pizza. Instead of addressing the issue or instructing the employee to follow proper food safety practices, Dottie dismissed my concern and told me “the oven gets hot enough to kill any germs.” She then gave me attitude and made me feel like I was being a nuisance for bringing it up.

Good customer service means making guests feel heard and valued — not dismissed or disrespected. The rest of the staff seemed pleasant, but the manager’s response completely ruined the experience. I won’t be returning unless management takes food safety and customer...

Had a party here and the bowling side of the Party was fine but them making you buy their food was horrible. All 4 pizzas were burnt. They only could do 2 at a time, so the kids had to wait 45mins. I had to keep sending people to check on the rest of the food. Then on top of all that they went back and charged my card an extra $85 without my knowledge or consent. When I left I thought I had paid my balance. I've emailed I guess the manager but definitely the person in charge of parties, no reply. Called to talk to the manager and he gets off at 5pm but I called at 420pm. Hopefully I'll hear something soon, but don't expect much from the food side if you have a party. I put my order in when I came in. Also, didn't get the Party pin, but that is the least of my worries at this point!!! I need answers

Honestly before tonight it would have been 5 stars. We’ve gone as a group more than a dozen times but tonight has ended that. If the staff doesn’t want to work they can just stay home. I’d rather deal with longer wait times due to a short staff than attitudes from people that don’t want to be there. After tonight we will be driving to Greenville and paying the much higher prices for staff that doesn’t treat us like we are a burden. The light skinned female with braided hair and the male were awesome. Everyone else needs to go home for the evening. This is coming from a manager herself who left in tears after feeling like a burden all evening...
