Wentworth Greenhouse not only has the best selection of plants in the area, but the staff are amazing. As someone with pretty much a black thumb, I struggle to keep my house plants alive and to have a clue about how to care for the plants in my yard. Read moreWe are new to the Durham/Dover area, having moved recently from Washington State. After buying hundreds of dollars of nursery plants for our new home we wanted to recycle the plastic pots the plants came in. Our town’s recycle service does not take plant pots and directed us to return the pots to the nursery they came from.
Much to our surprise and disappointment we were not able to return the pots to Wentworth Nursery. Recycling and reusing materials are moral and responsible actions in today’s world! If Wentworth doesn’t make the effort to reuse and recycle, then their anti-environmental policies make sure that we will not buy anything from their store. We will also make sure others know of...
