US Customs and Border Protection - Roma Port of Entry — Local services in Roma

Today, my son crossed the border at the Roma, TX port of entry, and I feel compelled to express my disappointment regarding the treatment he received from one of the US Customs officers. He was met with unnecessary rudeness and disrespect, which is deeply troubling.

We understand the importance of border security and respect the difficult job officers have, but there is never an excuse for treating anyone with such a lack of courtesy and professionalism. Every individual crossing the border deserves to be treated with dignity.

I hope this feedback encourages better training and oversight to ensure that others are met with respect during such interactions.

Today at around 1:30pm a unit thought he was above the law and turned on his lights to bypass a red light at the Efren Ramirez ave by the El Mexicano. It wasn’t an emergency because the unit turned off the light as soon as he passed the light. Not sure what the rush was as we all have places to be , i called the office to let them know and ask if they were above the law I’m only sad I didn’t get the license plate .
