Floyd County 4-h Fairgrounds is just the perfect spot for this venue. The rides and the vendors are such great people. The view from the ferris wheel tops the visit. Overall, it was an amazing place. As a Disabled Veteran and in a wheelchair it was very friendly to our disabled community. Thank you to all who work hard to bring us these great events designed to help raise awareness for our Bountiful region in North West Georgia.

Great time. Went the last night.. kids loved it. My only complaint is that some vendors only took cash, leaving me looking crazy a couple of times.. I feel like most Americans carry cards now. Lastly, some lines for rides were just too long of a wait...

The county fair for the arts...paintings, photography, ceramics, wood working, quilting and original music. We really enjoyed the 8 year old fiddle player...could barely see him up on stage but his music showed promise and ability beyond his years.

we came to the fair on Wednesday, me my two sisters and out 5 children, we purchased $150.00 in armbands for the kids to ride the rides. We arrived around 6:00 that evening and started where we normal take the kids on the back side where you guys host the magic shoe and circus. When we got over to what we always have called the kid section we notice there were only two rides, so we walked around for a few minutes to find out the kids rides where mostly the first few rides when you passed all the food vendors. So by now it is about 6:30 the kids were super excited that we have found the rides and the only problem was 3 of the rides they wanted to ride were shut down, so we let them rotate the few that were available. I then noticed one of the rides they had been trying to ride the circus train, so we got in line for that. The man running the machine was just completely rude to the children, one of the kids put their hand on the gate and was jumping with excitement, happy that the rides they were already limited to that had been closed the entire time was finally open. So while my child was holding the gate, the gentleman jerked his hand off of it and told him he could not touch the door. Now if my child had opened the gate or you know something that I found inappropriate then saying something to him nicely would be understandable but that was not the case. I find it inappropriate for a fair ride worker, to put his hand on a child in the first place, but to be rude and upset my child to the point that he didn't even want to ride the ride anymore. So I approached a different male who is working rides and asked him to point me in the direction of whom I needed to speak with about an issue. He the replies with well I’m the one in charge of all of these rides what’s the problem, I explained the above and asked when the other few rides would be opened. He Gets all jazzy and says well ma'am we get breaks too. I responded with I understand but we have been over here for over an hour waiting on the rides to be opened back up. He looks at me and says well that is how long I just said the break was. So I’m at this point just fed up with the service and attitudes that I’m receiving. So I walked to the next ride that was open, and asked the lady who was over everyone working the rides. She pointed me to a trailer beside the basketball game. I then explained all the above to the lady in the office, and it was just a waste of time. At this point you have five upset children who are all under the age of seven, having to ride the same four rides that were open. Now here it is close to 10:30 and the one ride the Jumping Star, that had such a sweet lady working it, she was loading all the kids on the ride and here comes the same man who said he was over that section tell her they could not ride it was needing to be shut down! So not only did you cause the children the worst experience ever! They are finally able to ride something and you want to come shut it down! So we asked if they could please ride this ride considering the circumstances and yet again we had to listen to his filthy mouth complain and curse (thank god our children were on the ride and couldn’t hear) to another employee on how "them girls are getting on his F* nerves." Again we had spent $150.00 JUST on armbands, which my children couldn't even put to use. All the attitudes and disrespect we received yesterday was just ridiculous. We have been coming to this fair for over 20 years and I just don’t think whoever is over all this would be satisfied with people representing...

🌟 ALL PHOTOS AND VIDEOS FOR THIS EVENT ARE LISTED WITH MY PHOTOS, I DID NOT KNOW HOW TO LOAD THEM TO MY RATING ( PLEASE CHECK THEM OUT!)🌟 My kids loved it! I was so excited to watch them enjoy rides and games! The parking was okay for healthy people but handy cap accessibility was not visible to my eyes šŸ‘€ , there were people that were using canes and having trouble being able to walk ..but had to walk up from parking lot 6 šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Øout of breath having to stop and take time to keep going. We got up to the entrance finally lol. Admission was $5.00 per person and we had four people $20.00. There where bathrooms and hand washing stations. They put safety Matt’s down over wires and the staff where friendly and they did check to make sure peoples belts and locks where good on the rides, the food court was huge… lines everywhere and really greasy, threw together.. they quickly started running out of supplies and the a lot of the time the vendors where overwhelmed with people and started loosing business. Tickets where high and did not go far unless you had the bracelets. Meet lots of friendly people that we enjoyed conversation with… thank you for your time we enjoyed you🫵 we saw competitions on cheer .. we really enjoyed the 🌟 shining star group they where amazing! Way to go to all the cheer groups for your efforts and hard practice… keep up the positivity 🫶 one thing that stood out was the animals; the cattle, sheep etc…. They where so nice and took care of they look real good and healthy, they where displayed nicely and walked around fairly good! Great job live stock. After all the fun we had we where kaput ,tired and ready to go home.. it was pretty fast on the existing and getting home. I rate five 🌟 because of the joy and experience of the fair is so important and wonderful for the community in all aspects from money ,helping fund our town and our families in need and to have a community we can know will come together and be like a family! It’s about the support,...

Great place to be in the fall. Always have good rides and great food. Plenty of local food booths to help out the neighborhood. They host a beauty pageant every year with several categories. Local Future Farmers of America teams show to show off and compete in the livestock shows.! Plenty of farm animals to come see. From the littlest chickens to the mighty Bramaha Bulls. Maybe a sheep shearing contest or demonstration. Several breeds of chickens, turkeys, goats, donkeys, mules, and cows. Along with lamb sheep and hogs. Vendor booths are set up in a separate build with a cash raffle to one lucky winner who visits all the booths. There's a masseuse with magic hands. For only a dollar a minute you to can reach Narvana. Verizon, Woodmen of America, Marines Toys for Tots, a youth program with the Marines, a few product vendor like plexus or Avon or something,, and a new Silicone company. Had an awesome product and service there as well. Dukes Military Museum was on hand displaying several Military Vehicles as well as having a table set up. The bigger building has dislpays set up for different awarenesses by different groups. Veterans of Foreign Wars and The American Legion had a booth. In the back the Farming part was on display with the winners and ribbons showing. All manner of vegetables and plants that were grown for the event plus homemade items using the crops grown. In the Booths the Rome Band Booster Club is there and in the bright yellow booth authentic Cajun food!!! probably the...
