University Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Rome, Ga Do not buy from this dealership. Do not Have service done at this dealership. I’ve just had the worst experience possible with customer service from them. I would not recommend anyone buying a vehicle from them. Worst possible customer service ever! I would also not recommend buying a RAM truck! Unless you want a drivers side window that won’t work! Well documented issue since the 2016 model and still hasn’t been fixed. Of course mine broke when I was 4,000 miles outside the mileage warranty. Happens when your window freezes in very cold weather and you try to roll the window down and it comes off the track. I made the mistake of trying to get a goodwill warranty from University CDJR where my father bought the $54,000 vehicle new in 2016. They basically gave me 3 options. 1. I could pay $129 to diagnose the problem only. 2. I could pay $269 to fix the broken window that was well documented to be an issue even by the Corporate office. 3. I could pay $175 for a scheduled maintenance they claim I missed on my vehicle at 30,000 miles. They said a mandatory maintenance was to change the differential fluid at 30,000 miles. They refused to fix the problem with a goodwill warranty unless I paid them for a different service. I explained my husband had brought the vehicle in around 30,000 miles for an oil change and did not feel that the differential fluid needed to be changed at 30,000 miles. They insisted it had to be changed due to the amount of high heat that occurred in the differential. It got to over 350 degrees according to the service man and the fluid could not hold up to that high heat. Basically that was extortion. I went ahead and agreed to change the differential fluid since they said we missed a maintenance that was mandatory and that was the only way they would honor a goodwill warranty. While I was waiting, I started researching the issue. I pulled up the warranty manual and what I found was shocking. The service man, Todd told me a BALD FACE LIE!!!! The manual did not say the differential fluid needed to be changed and it certainly wasn’t mandatory. It simply says to INSPECT the front and rear axle surfaces. IF gear oil leakage is suspected, check the fluid level. IF using your vehicle for police, taxi, fleet, off-road or frequent trailer towing, change axle fluid. Since none of those apply and he certainly never even asked if I tow anything (which I don’t). I was extorted into doing “mandatory maintenance “ that was not scheduled maintenance at all. It was only a scheme to get money from customers from University CDJR. They are telling customers this is mandatory scheduled maintenance when it’s NOT according to the manual. Now for the latest issue!!! On February 16th, 2 1/2 weeks after getting the window fixed I go to get in my truck and the friggin DOOR WON’T OPEN. I have to crawl over from the passengers side to get in my truck. Lol. What a nightmare. They obviously did something to the door when they fixed the window. They charge me $142 for something they obviously caused. They CLAIM it happened when the window fell!!! NEWS FLASH!!! The window NEVER fell. It simply would not roll down but was stuck at the top. This came from the service manager, Scott Priest. He has no clue what he is talking about. He is obviously making up excuses to charge his customers. My daddy even bought this truck new from this dealership. Imagine what would happen if you bought a truck from some other dealer. They refuse to service your truck even when you buy from them. Even when they caused the problem. The service manager, Scott Priest told me to call the Corporate office if I didn’t like what he was telling me. Lol. As if I would like being lied to!! Who would? Does he think I don’t know my window didn’t fall down?!!! Maybe he didn’t know that so he just made it up? So, they lied to me about mandatory maintenance of changing differential fluid at 30,000 miles. Then, Scott Priest, service manager lied to me about the window falling and causing my door...

Amazing visit! At first we were skeptical as we were shopping around online for a dealer who could fit our budget, especially in these difficult times (pandemic, layoffs, economy, etc...)
We found University Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Rome online after putting in calls all over the city and receiving bad news each time. We put in a call to University Chrysler. We spoke to Shawn Evans over the phone first and he was very patient and helpful.
A few days later we took our old car in to the mechanic we know and love (and trust!) and they also highly recommend not just University Chrysler but also specifically Shawn Evans, telling us that he was absolutely amazing and goes above and beyond to make sure you get the right deal.
Shawn was very patient with us, helped us figure out each document item we would potentially need for our appointment, and even pushed our appointment out further (by a whole week due to a family emergency) to give us time to get everything together and to make arrangements with work so we wouldn't miss any work hours. He sent periodic texts during the week to make sure we didn't forget about the appointment.
The big day finally came and even though he was not the one who handled our case (that was Mike Allen who was equally patient and understanding---they worked with us as a team), he stayed with us from start to finish and made himself available to answer any and all questions, helped to clarify everything for us, walked me through how to update my insurance through our insurance app online, and helped get us into a car that same day!
What we originally thought would be too good to be true turned out to be a surprising reality. We were in and out in about 2-2.5 hours --- and that was with trading in our old car, getting approved for a loan, and having a printer problem (technical issue that extended the time by nearly 20 minutes....the blasted thing just didn't want to print! So sorry, David, thank you for being patient! These things happen! My wife is a "golden monkey" so electronics tend to break around her.)
To top it all off, Shawn had an amazing sense of humor and was wonderful with our kids. Being a fellow nerd/geek, he kept a collection of DC (and Dark Horse) Super Hero collectibles behind his desk and he allowed our kids to play with some of them while we waited.
We went in with an unreliable 2008 Hyundai Accent and left with a reliable 2014 Buick Verano. Low monthly payments with the option to refinance after a few payments, and excellent advice on how to build our credit score to eventually own a dream home later on down the road. Along with a reference to a local credit union.
With down a down-to-earth sales team who are personable, kind, and professional (and not in a stuffy way), we highly recommend University Chrysler Dodge Jeep...

I had a terrible experience at Greenway CDJR of Rome Georgia and want others to know before they go through what I did. I was promised a 6-year bumper-to-bumper Mopar warranty with no mileage cap as part of my recent truck purchase. That was a major selling point for me and played a big role in why I signed the deal.
When I asked to see the warranty paperwork before finalizing, the sales manger Austin F told me the “system was down” and he couldn’t print it out at that time. I trusted him — big mistake.
After everything was finalized and I eventually got the documents, I found out they had actually sold me a 2-year, 24,000-mile warranty — completely different from what was promised. When I confronted them about the switch, there has been zero accountability, and still waiting for Austin to get back to me. I brought this issue to the dealerships attention a week from this review being posted. This warranty was not cheap , I have spent thousands of dollars on a warranty that is not what was promised to me, 6,000$.
This kind of bait-and-switch behavior is not just dishonest — it’s predatory. If you’re considering doing business with this dealership, do not sign anything without seeing every detail in writing if you decide to conduct business with them. Ask questions, demand documentation, and don’t fall for excuses like “the system is down.” I am a young man in his early 20’s that was simply lied to and taken advantage of.
Before I purchased the truck it was pulling to the passenger side of the truck pretty strong, it will pull you into another lane if you don't correct it. They said they would do an alignment to fix the problem before I bought the truck. When I test drove the truck it was still pulling to the right, they promised to get another alignment which they did do but that did not fix the problem. This issue has now evolved into very aggressive and dangerous death wobble. I have got it professionally diagnosed at another CDJR dealership which they stated my pitman arms and idler arms need to be replaced. The quote to fix the issue is over 2,000$
I won’t be back, and I’d strongly recommend others take their...
