I have visited this place 3 or 4 times and have never been impressed. I like to shop locally when at all possible. This place is VERY clean and organized which is why I gave it two stars. They are grossly over priced and most of they staff give the attitude that they are doing a great service by waiting on you. Today I actually made a purchase of a ton of wood pellets. They were advertised by a large sign in the front for $199.99. I was ring up for $200 plus tax. While this is a mere penny, to me this is an ethical issue. Don't advertise one thing and charge another - no matter what the difference is. I told the cashier who looked as if he could have been the owner the forklift driver would need extenders and he said ok - a real lack of personality or gratitude for a $200 sale. The forklift driver was ready to load the ton on my trailer by had as they don't have extenders. What place that has 2 forklifts and sells items by the pallet doesn't have extenders??? It's like selling guns and no ammo! I had to make to round trips to a friend who loaned me extenders so they could load my trailer. This added 30 miles total to my day not to mention time and 2+ gallons of gas. There was never an apology or, gee that would be a great thing for us to get! When I worked retail and self pellets, half the tons we sold went on trailers. Anyway, my story just shows the lack of service that seems to thrive here. I do need to add, the forklift driver was VERY nice and was skilled. He has been the ONLY one that has been like that...

Lacking in customer service. I came in to compare local hardware stores. No one here asked me if I needed help. Several people near one (of two) registers ignored me as I walked the past young man. I walked to register with cashier waiting on another customer. After I put down items on counter I suspected young man would say " I can take you at this register." Contrast this with my 1st hardware store in town. I was greeted upon entering and attended with all the purchases and questions I had. I met the owner and he answered the unanswered questions. We chatted. They waited on others. Because of these 2 people (& quality products & selection) I will definitely continue doing business with them. These people were...

I always go in here since im remodeling my place. Ive never had a problem with customer service but I was watching a customer who came in with a teeny tiny puppy he just picked up and he came into the store real quick to buy something with puppy and the staff was a total ass to that customer cause he brought that little puppy in the store..really..OMG...I didnt see no harm in that customer bringing that puppy in real quick. Customer made a purchase...spent money in your store and you treat them like that..shame on you..but you sure took his money thou didnt you..what a disgrace...where's your manners and love for animals...I won't be going in there after that...and I spent alot of money...
