Romney Cycles — Local services in Romney

I have been looking around for a few weeks looking for a FZ-10 that just came out this year. The problem being they were mostly overpriced. I finally found Romney Cycles selling this bike brand new for well under the book value. I called and spoke to Spencer who helped me reserve the color I wanted and make the arrangements to go pick up the bike. I got a truck and trailer and headed up there from NC to go get the bike. I arrived and started going through the process filling out all the paperwork I needed to do. Spencer was very pleasant to work with and made the whole process smooth. He even walked me outside to the bike and showed me all the features it had and how to work them. Doug the finance manager was awesome to work with as well. He had all my paperwork ready to go and notarized several documents for me at the dealership that I would have paid to do at the DMV back home. Doug made everything really easy and even agreed to forward any more paperwork over if I was missing anything. Spencer let me ride the bike around the parking lot behind the building to get a feel for it since it was different than what I used to ride. Spencer helped me load the bike onto the trailer and sent me on my way. I was very pleased with the whole process and I wouldn't purchase another bike through anyone else. I urge anyone looking for a bike to go check this dealership out. They have a huge selection and the staff is really friendly. It also helped I already had my financing which made the process quick. Warning: This dealership is in the middle of nowhere literally. I didn't take the staff seriously when they told me that....they weren't kidding. There is a McDonald's, a few hardware stores, and a few hole in the wall restaurants....that's it...You either have to have the bike shipped, drive it home, or go pick it up. I have purchased several 4 wheelers and a side by side mule in the last few years. This is a great place to find whatever your looking for. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I have sent many friends and family to this place. George is the best sales guy ever. This guy treated us like family. From the very start we had a good impression of him. This is a great business but he makes buying a new toy a much better experience. My wife and I were very happy how knowledgeable he has been. Laying out all our options and answering any questions we might have. Not pushy in any way. This guy was so good last time I stopped in just to look we left with 2 more 4 wheelers ha ha ha. What can I say. It was a fair deal. We have had so much fun as a family riding trails and running around the family farm. It's really been good for our family. Who cares about video games and cell phones when mom and dad and the whole family is kicking up dust in the West Virginia mountains. What could be better? My purchases from this place have made my life better all year round. I use my Kawasaki mule every day for farm work and getting fire wood. And my 4 wheeler is how I clear the snow from my long driveway. We use them for work and play more then I ever imagined we would. And the payments are really reasonable. Every time I pay one off I go back for another one. We have a large family so as one kid grows out of his or hers another one grows into it. Now we have pop pop and a uncle riding with us now too. My whole experience with Romney Cycles has been fantastic. After trying to talk to several other dealers, I was starting to think customer service in this industry didn’t exist. That was until I found George at Romney Cycles. He is by far the best salesman I’ve ever worked with when it comes to buying something of this nature. He is very knowledgeable and responded to my questions both via email and via phone extremely quickly. When the need for a return phone call arose, he called me back exactly when he said he would. Even though they didn’t have it yet, George helped me get the exact model Can-Am that I wanted. He did this at a price that saved me over $1,000 from my other semi local dealer. They don’t add on all of the crazy fees that many dealers do. Once the atv I wanted arrived and was assembled, George even took awesome pictures of it with the scenic view of the mountains in the background and sent them to me. He really went above and beyond with everything.

Once I arrived at Romney Cycles everything was equally as positive. I really was blown away. Everyone I dealt with there was amazing. They didn’t try to play any games and made the whole process extremely simple.

I was shocked by the size of this place. They have a large selection and definitely have the whole sales process perfected. As I was walking around, I noticed great prices on accessories. While I didn’t end up buying one, the helmets I looked at were cheaper than I could find them anywhere online.

It was well worth the few hours of driving. Next time I buy a new motorcycle or atv, I know who...
