Dollar Tree — Local services in Romulus

I went shopping at this dollar tree store in the morning. I picked out $20 worth of items. When I went to the cash register to pay at 9:28 am, the lady said she the store does not break $100. I told her there is no where on the front door a sign that the store does not accept $100 bill. Also, they should post it on door because i spent time looking for my items then they won't take a $100 bill. The cashier also said this is a dollar store so they don't take large bills just small bills. I told her the store should be able to break down the money in the back room. But no they weren't able to. So I left the store with out being able to buy my stuff. I then left and went to a dollar general store on Wayne rd in Romulus and there I was able to use my $100 bill. I don't know what kind of store is dollar tree if they don't even carry change for $100 bill. They sold have change money in box at the manager. The cashier lady was being really rude and I told her why she is being so rude because i didn't do anything wrong. I just shopped and tried to pay my items and she just blasts off on me for carrying a large bill with me. I won't be shopping at this dollar tree who had very bad...

Was able to get what I needed but the cashier named👉🏾 Aniyah was extremely rude. Never really come to this location because I generally just don't like it. Just ran in for 1 thing on my way by, and will not be back will also pass along this information to other shoppers as well. As a paying customer I deserve to be treated in a standard courteous way at the👉🏾 least. I have no longer been patronizing locations of any👉🏾 rude, nasty, discourteous employees. They literally get 👉🏾paid to be decent at work and can't even do that....So over so called customer service. Honestly, mostly, only low class people work at these places, they take no pride in appearance or workplace etiquette. Anybody with any pride about where they work would NOT work here. 👉🏾The shelves are so dirty and nasty I only buy things 👉🏾wrapped in plastic, nasty and filthy store. The people that work here fit👉🏾 right in.......but I won't be...

I just left this store and had to share my experience. While everyone I interacted with was incredibly kind and helpful, Elesia truly went above and beyond. Not only did she help me find exactly what I needed, but she even took the extra step to check in the back for the exact product I was searching for. Her upbeat attitude and genuine willingness to help made a normal shopping experience feel like a great one. It’s rare to come across someone with such great energy and dedication to excellent service. Service like hers matters so much, and Elesia is absolutely nailing it. Huge kudos to her and this store—10/10!
