I contemplated writing this. However, for safety of other young college women...the owners are jokes. If you're a female trying to start a business I'd bring people with you, and learn about the market. I met the owner Brian while shopping, he approached me was flirting, I'm a very non confrontational girl... When I started to try and walk away. He mentioned the market, I took this as opportunity to try and start my business, as I've been wanting to. He said and I quote "I never let anyone sell any kind food there but I'll let you do it if you want for free cause I want you to make money" I have the texts to prove this as well. I was not going to sell here because as a college student you can't afford that... but he offered it FOR FREE whenever I can come. He sold the market to his son and was too afraid to tell his lil boy that Dad was a crep, told a young woman and allowed her to sell at a table FOR FREE at the table HE PICKED, the more expensive one. They tried charging $50 which I didn't even make that much for a tiny dusty table... without notice or warning. I'd text ever week saying hey I'll be there, he wouldn't acknowledge it or bought up any issues... why at the end of the day bombarded me and surprise me when IN TEXTS I have total opposite. At least give me warning/call text me that I'll now start getting charged, so I can CHOOSE a more affordable table. This definitely taught me a lesson to just start business on your own (social media) and to never allow a man who has ill intentions to feel power. He didn't get what he wanted, knew there was zero chance and was mad... It's gross actually. Now even thou the owners are sleeze. I will say the vendors are very kind, had great things to sell, and you'll meet really nice people. The man that had a table next to me was very kind and so was his daughter. Ladies please be careful, take someone with you so crep Brian🐷 doesn't try to...

The owner who owns pawn shop .not the tall guy but the fast talking guy.Hes a crook...He has ripped me off at his pawn shop he had me so confused inended up giving him everything in my arms and he got me so twisted around I ended up with nothing I got to pick a item out of store worth $15 bucks.so he needs to make place (flea. Market) a bit nicer .they pay hardly anything for that property there.Foid stand is ran by his kinda people.the gravel he chose is the worst kind to walk on.Big chunks of crushed concrete.i fell about 5 times in there so bring big flat bottom shoes.uts dirty ,dusty.if they spend some money on walking. In the item area you wouldn't get all that concrete dust flyng into your face.when I'm done there I feel filthy and there are some nasty people me st Immigrants selling junk and stupid prices so watch out .they garbage pick and don't even clean it once I asked this immagrant who has stand on outer wall of parking lot and she wanted 35 bcks for a used coffee maker lol.then if you don't buy it she will follow you and call you nasty names.....be warned where dark glasses and don't dress nice cuz they will take advantage of you thinking your loaded.they are used to haggling from mddle east but God forbid if you counter offer...

Home away from home. I have been shopping here since the 1990s when I was just a little girl. Recently I noticed 2 new different types of ice cream spots here even. You can find everything you need here it is amazing. From clothes, tools, decor, plants, furniture, health and beauty, electronics, collectables, and more they have it all. I even heard that they are possibly starting up with events like car shows ^_^ i also heard the Son is taking over for his dad and man I am sad to see his dad go into retirement but am so excited for this next step and to see what all new things come to the flea market with the new boss man there. Oh and the employees and vendors are also amazing 😍 my kids and myself have always been met with smiles and vendors who adore kids. I highly recommend shopping here.

My only advice to the man in charge is to extend business hours. I have heard this from customers and vendors that if he would extend the business hours to 5 or 6 that more people would stop by to shop. People who sleep in on weekends will decide not to shop here only because they wake up too late to shop. So extending the day by 2-3 hours even if they open up a few hours later to the public would be beneficial to the owners...

The Green Lawn Flea Market in Detroit is a treasure hunter's dream! With around 100 vendors spread out over an outdoor space, there’s something for everyone—used tools, clothing, jewelry, purses, accessories, DVDs, toys, and more. It’s a mix of organized chaos in the best way, with tables and booths offering all kinds of hidden gems. It’s definitely a fun place to browse and you’re almost guaranteed to find something unique or unexpected. The variety is impressive and it feels like each vendor brings their own flair to the market. That said, the day I visited was extremely hot, and some items stored in plastic bags looked a little foggy or possibly even moldy—just something to be aware of if you're sensitive to that. Still, the experience overall was enjoyable and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who loves the thrill of the flea market hunt. They also have some food available as well.

Awesome food and a lot of really cool vendors! Check out Lisa in the far corner for a little bit of everything. Paul is in the back toward the front and he has clearance priced name brand food like donuts and Doritos I have to make sure to see them both every time I come and everything in between! Always a new treasure to be found here :)
