Edwards Exchange — Local services in Rosamond

Feel like this should really be two reviews: the Exchange is a nice small to medium size older store that was clean, well stocked, nicely priced and had really nice employees. I would give them 4 stars so wanted that reflected overall. However...when we were there (in a bit if a rush admittedly) there were no AAFES associates in electronics and the person from the mobile kiosk assisted us. We had picked up several items from the Aafes shelving and were asking questions about what it fit, was it a good seller, etc and she kept zipping around grabbing other items she endorsed as better, cheaper, more suitable. She told us we would have to ring all items up at her register, which seemed weird but maybe a security measure?!? So we agreed. She had trouble running the Mil Star card and kept asking for Debit or Credit bur finally accepted Mil Star. Later when I looked at the receipt I realized we had been charged tax. She had replaced all the Aafes merchandise with similar items from the mobile kiosk and I guess they are allowed to charge tax.
