Rosamond Community Pool at Jim Williford Park — Local services in Rosamond

This is part of the Westpark area! The pool is awesome looks nice! Doesnt have many actual sitting areas and not to much shade. I will say this pool has two different types. First pool is on the left when you enter the pool area. Its a small 1foot pool perfect for the young ones to play and splash around. The second one is a much bigger pool for adults and kids to enjoy, it is a 4 foot pool on the outer sides and 5 foot pool in the middle. Has two sets of stairs to enter the pool, atleast 3-4 step ladders to enter as well. Water is cool for the most part. Also, the bathrooms are fairly new or very well looked after. They have showers in the restrooms to rinse off the chlorine and they have multiple stalls. Life guards on duty at all times and switch out with one another after a while. The rules are posted all over the place so not following them shouldn't be difficult. They are open weekends from 11am-5pm from what I was told the other day after visiting. Cool pool but they never have enough floaties. Dont expect the life guard to save your kid. They had the nerve to tell my kid they warned her 3 times to stop running and i was with her the whole time. She said she yelled it from across the pool. Told her to leave her chair if she expects anyone to listen to her. So last years visit my kid almost drowned in the 3 minutes i wasnt watching her. This year harrassed by lifeguard.
