Okay so both these pics were taken two different days (weeks apart) on the same hill...now look at the city of clouds and the City of Angels. I come here to meditate, reminisce, and try to feel close to my love ones that I miss soo much. It helps me come back to reality, focused on life and responsibility. I give these words in hope that whoever reads them can have some comfort to their soul in a time of loss and pain...just know you have to prepare yourself for growth. Take a moment each day to give thanks to your Creator. For everything That's happening in your life. Forget about the "why's" and put your energy into the unseen. In my 38 years of experience, for every one He takes He replaces with opportunity to grow into the character you have special place for. So don't miss it by staying stuck in a hole that you dug... Rise up to the challenge and don't trip over failure...instead use it as a stepping stone, (not a stumbling block) on your journey to see the best of you. YOUR LOVE ONES ARE WATCHING YOU AND IT MAKES THEM SOO HAPPY TO SEE THE BEST OF YOU. FOLLOW your heart and keep your head to the sky. You never know what you might see. Thanks to to God...
Read moreI recently had my father’s viewing & viewing here at the SkyRose Cathedral, the experience was both beautiful & moving. The Cathedral itself is breathtaking, the architecture and hilltop location overlooking the city is astonishing. Everything from the viewing to the funeral went well. I was extremely grateful to have Kristy as our family coordinator. Her support, compassion & attention to detail made a difficult time much more manageable. Having someone that cares & responds attentively helps a lot. The only gripe I had with the services was lack of communication, I wish there was more guidance throughout and some essence of planning. It does really feel like you’re left on your own to figure things out, to plan everything on your own. It led to some amounts of miscommunication. Regardless it was an extremely beautiful experience, I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful viewing/funeral, and again, we were extremely lucky to have Kristy(who is not part of arrangements) helping out, which is why this review...
Read moreWe came here to honor our veterans who gave their ultimate sacrifice to our country. It was an honor to see the events here at the Sky Chapel, especially the live music from Los Angeles Sheriff Department Concert Band. The speakers were very informative about their time of service or what Veterans Day meant to them. With the live music even though it was overcast it made the event that much better especially since the fly over was cancelled. Thank you for putting this great event together and thank you the LASD Concert Band but most of all the speakers, staff and Rose Hills Memorial. My family loved it especially my grandson who's parents are serving now in our military US Air Force and US Army. He stood up for both branches when the concert band played their...
