Had their service from April 2015 to February 2016. Was only able to get wireless internet at the location where I was at. The internet was decent, although it couldn't handle more than two people using it at a time, very slow if there were more than two connected to it. Was told in May of 2015 that a fiber optic connection would be installed. Installers showed up and left after 10 minutes stating they had a wrong work order and someone would call the next day with a new installation date. No one ever called. As a matter of fact no one ever returned any phone calls. I called them about installation and they told me they had to wait for consumers energy to put in more pedestals in the area before fiber optic could be installed. I would call them at least once a month to ask about the fiber optic and leave messages with no return phone calls. When I did actually get to talk to someone they would say they had to check with their manager and have to call me back, which of course would never happen.
In October of 2015 I noticed consumers energy doing some work in the area so I called m33 access to ask if the pedestals were being installed. They told me yes and that they were working on installation dates for customers in the area for fiber optic and I would be informed about when I would get the fiber optic, never happened. I moved out of the house I was staying in at the beginning of February 2016 and no fiber optic was ever installed. When I called to cancel service I was told that their technicians would be there between 2 and 5 in the afternoon to pick up their equipment and I would have to be there. I go to the house around 145 and noticed the dish was gone. I called my lanlord and he told me that m33 was there in the morning and took the equipment then. Thanks for the heads up on that one. Internet service was acceptable for the area where we were at but the customer service was absolutely, positively the worst I have ever encountered. Totally...
Read moreWe are a new, local business in Comins, MI. When we opened we wanted to use a local company for our phone service. We went with M33. I can honestly say I have never been more disappointed with a phone service. We decided to switch phone companies and were told we would have service with M33 until the day of the port. As soon as we put in the work ticket to have the number ported, our service stopped. We couldn't receive any incoming calls. Not to mention we only had one line, no caller ID, no call waiting and were charged for every phone call made, local and long distance. Our bills from M33 were about $150 per month. A bit outrageous. I spoke with the "customer service" department which I believe consists of one person. He seemed rather annoyed that I called him regarding the issue. I spoke with him on several occasions and he continued to say it was not their problem, it was the problem of the new phone company.I called the new company and they said our service was with M33 until the day of the port (of our number) and they do not take control until that day in case the customer changes their mind. I again spoke with M33 and he again said it's not their problem. He offered me no help, solution nor compensation. He continued to sound annoyed with me so I then asked to speak with a supervisor and he put me through to her voice mail. I did leave a voice mail but I'm not really sure how she is going to contact me seeing as we can't receive incoming calls. If you're thinking of using this company for your phone service, I would not recommend it. It's just my opinion from my experiences and if you do give them a shot, hopefully it works out...
Read moreAbsolutley the worst tech support and customer service. They do not return phone calls, the managment hides from customers, and use the hold button as if they are actually doing something. My service has been down for more than a week, and they have had 4 techs come to my home, and all of them state "they can not repair my line break, that this is another departments job". Absolutley no-one in there office talks with each other or passes along information. I am absolutley at wits end. I have now contacted an attorney, for this has cost me a lot of buisness. Piss poor managment, untrained techs and even worse is the fact that they hide behind there...
