I wish there was a “no star” choice because that’s what I wish I could give it. My friends and I stopped in today and thought the shop was adorable. Not long after we arrived, My friend asked the lady (I’m using this term loosely… you’ll understand why soon) if she had a certain item for sale. The woman gestured to her right and said “We have one exactly like it but smaller in the middle aisle “. My friend went looking for it and was unsuccessful in finding the item. When we came back up to the front of the store, my friend told the woman that she couldn’t find the item. The woman had a customer paying at the counter, and she seemed perturbed that my friend asked her where exactly in the middle aisle was the item and she apologized to the woman in front of her stating that my friend was incredibly rude for asking her multiple questions. When we were ready to leave, my friend took her items to the front desk to check out. As we were leaving, my friend told the lady that if she was going to run a small business, she might learn to multi task so she could help her customers. The lady was not only visibly but audibly angry at my friend (her CUSTOMER) and started berating my friend for being so rude as to try and talk to her while she was checking someone out. My friend kept her cool and simply stated that SHE was the one who was being rude to her. My friend walked out of the store, and as she walked out, the woman started SCREAMING at my friend to “GET OUTOF THIS STORE AND NEVER COME BACK!” Many patrons of the store stopped their shopping and turned their attention at the store clerk yelling at customers. She then came over and got about a foot away from me and started shrieking “Is she drunk? Has she been drinking all day?!” I told her no, that my friend was sober, she then yelled at ME and told me to get out and never come back. I said, “Ma’am, I’ve said nothing and done nothing to you, I don’t understand why you’re yelling at ME”. She stood there with the door open and just yelled “GET OUT!!”. Folks, I do a lot of shopping, but I have NEVER been treated so badly by a store owner or clerk. I was shocked at her behavior, and frankly embarrassed FOR her because she didn’t seem embarrassed by her...

This place has a bit of something for everyone; from ironstone to signs, to softgoods, salvage, & home-made goodies.
The people are very friendly and helpful My very reasonably priced purchases were carefully wrapped for the journey home.

Read moreA very unique place for antiques. Quite a few items on display outside of the building but really should be indoors so that the weather doesn't damage them. We made the mistake of going counter clockwise and the first room we entered was full of vintage jewelry which was a bit hard to see since they were crammed onto the display racks. Had to remove a bunch of jewelry to get the items that were of...
