Animal Care Clinic — Local services in Rosepine

This is hands down one of the best vet experiences we have ever had. We were newer to the area and had not gotten a new vet yet for our Sheltie Charlie. He became ill one day and I was able to call and get him a same day appointment. That day we learned our 13.5 year old shelt had congestive heart failure and were given meds for him. Unfortunately the meds did not help him and his health declined rapidly. A week later I was sobbing making the phone call that Charlie was not well and he was probably not going to make it. We took him in that day and along with Dr. Anderson helped him cross the rainbow bridge. This devastating experience was made a little less hurtful due to the compassion and caring of Dr. Anderson and his Tech that was with him that day. I wish I had her name. They let us sob and take our time with Charlie at his final time. They took a clay imprint of his little paw for us to take home that day. They handled his cremation and even sent us a sympathy card that was so thoughtful and the whole office signed it. Charlie was returned to us a week later with a nice bag, a beautiful urn, and another paw print. I cannot say enough good things about how we were treated as well as Charlie. I would love to go back and thank Dr. Anderson and the Tech we had that day but it’s just too hard still. We hope to get another dog eventually and when we do, we will bring them here. We have used this Amazing Animal care Clinic for many years now we drive 30 miles away to use them because they have always given our pets the best medical treatment when ever we have needed to be seen. The staff all work together as a team with the Doctor. To help get you pet well and to help explain what you can do to help them feel better one of the things I have always liked is that you are never rushed every question you ask is important to the staff to get you a answer. I have never felt like I was be pressured to do testing that was not needed. I took my Labrador retriever in she 9 years old and was not eating very well the (new vet to me )seen us and told me let try her on some medication and see how she is in a few days because my treatment would be the same even if I did some testing so let try this first . That is the honesty I have always gotten every time I have walked in the doors and I am so thankful for that . My baby is eating better and really has perked up so I really believe the doctor was right . Thank all of you form...

I will never go see another vet ever. Dr. Todd and Dr. Laughlin have and always will be the best vets around. We had an unfortunate event where my service dog had bone cancer and they fought with medication to make her comfortable and happy unfortunately as always with cancer it’s supper unpredictable and it spread to her lungs so we called and they said bring her in now due to her breathing. She unfortunately was suffering and quality of life was gone. The team here has always gone above and beyond for all my family pets but this was a special case for me as she’s been my service dog for over 10 years. They made sure her passing was painless and care free and even gave us a paw print to memorialize her. This team has and always will be my goto vet. Ty all for the kind treatment and words and support in my hard times. Ou all diserve more than you get.
