Every Meal — Local services in Roseville

I took the day and volunteered at Every Meal. I and about 60 other people packed food products for children in school. Most of these children could then take these food products home so their parents could create delicious meals and make lunches for the children to take to school every day. Many children find it hard to learn when dealing with hunger. That's where the Every Meal company comes to the rescue.Volunteering at Every Meal is a rewarding experience. Liam and Zack are wonderful! Brought a group here to volunteer and they made it a very smooth experience. All 10 of us had a really fun time from start to finish. Their operations are well orchestrated - we were impressed because each step is so efficient and streamlined. They even make sure to reuse their boxes between deliveries so there is zero waste. The group felt accomplished and like their time was well spent. It was rewarding to unite with others in the community toward helping those in need. Our church had a great experience at Sheridan. We did a closed packing event and brought around 100 volunteers. The staff did a very thorough orientation and then they had all of the service lines set up so we could get to work putting food in bags for kids. They have it down to a science, so our time was well used - kids especially like seeing the progress made on a large monitor as the hour went on. Knowing we made an impact...
