My 4 children and I went today to Burwinkel farm today Saturday 9/24! I can’t say enough good things! My son is on a oxygen tank and I honestly expected NOT to be able to partake in the hay ride because of needing to fit our wagon to fit his medical supplies BUT they said we could absolutely get on and just wanted to make it easy on us so we could all participate and be safe. They carried the wagon easily onto the the hayride trailer and made it so I could also enjoy it with my son as well. They were so incredibly sweet and one of the employees that helped us there spoke to me about how his daughter had medical issues too and he was happy to help us to have a great day together. I can’t explain how much fun we had and there was so much to do! Thank you Burwinkel Farm for giving us such an amazing day and after accommodating my family to be able to all enjoy, meant the world to us! I wish I got the employee name that was so good to us but THANK YOU for having wonderful people...
Read moreGreat for kids and families. This year they have a corn pool for kids to play and jump in and it was a huge hit with my kids. My kids also liked the water station where you can pump water down like slides and watch toys slide down them. There are 2 corn mazes and a smaller pallet maze that's great for younger kids. Plenty of photo spots and lots to see. Hay to climb in with a slide. There is a hay ride that I thought was kind of pricey at first but then I found out you get a pumpkin and a sunflower included so it made it worth it. You get to actually pick your pumpkin from the field and cut your flower. The only issue I had was that when we were finished in the pumpkin patch it took waaaaay too long for the tractor to come pick us up and it was too far to walk with kids. It was hot and sunny and everyone was kind of miserable waiting. Other than that it was a very enjoyable time and definitely worth checking out. Make sure you try the...
Read moreWe came from out of town and found this place close to our destination, on the way anyway, and wanted pumpkins for Halloween. We got there kinda late in the day and ended up being the last to leave. We did the maze, petted some donkeys and bought our pumpkins. While they did have some of the best looking large pumpkins we'd seen in a few seasons at other places we've visited they seemed a little pricy but not terrible. One of our pumpkins didn't make it to Halloween. When we tried to carve it we found it had turned to mush inside. That was a first for us. The staff was friendly and like I said we were the last to leave and they didn't rush us that day,...
