This small town Restaurant, is under New Ownership, ALOT.

The food is "Ok," nothing to write home to Mama, about. Most of the Menu Items are Boring and kinda Bland. But, to each their own.

The Lunch Specials are over priced, for what they serve you. Especially in a Small Town. Every Special is $12.99, no matter what it is.. Hamburger & Fries with a Drink $12.99.. Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans... $12.99...

(Even with the economy in a Recession, thanks to our current POTUS and Staff,) Food Prices are getting ridiculously Expensive and too overpriced, at this Restaurant and other Restaurants.

I miss the Thursday, Steak Specials, when the Bush's Owned and Operated, this Establishment. Not to mention, the Variety of Items they had, in the Small Town Grocery Store.

If you don't live in this small town, Don't waste the long backroad drive, to eat here. Go on in to Paris, or out to Sherman.

Roxton Grocery & Cafe has 2 entrances. N door for the convenience store side. S door for the cafe side. Clerk was gracious, friendly, vigilant, & helpful. The owner was courteous & informative. The store & cafe sides were both clean, orderly, & well-stocked. Loads of snacks & drinks on the shelves & in the coolers. Their Copenhagen cost $1.⁰⁰ more ($7.³⁰) than in town, but still reasonable. 🍔 Big selection of cold cut & hot sandwiches on the cafe menu. 🍕 Often have lunch specials like single topping personal Pan pizza w/ small salad, small drink, reg size candy bar ↝ $7.⁹⁹ _ tax & tip. 🐂 Others claim their ribeye steaks are worth the drive, or their bacon cheeseburgers worth the bike ride on the Northeast Texas Trail...

Good meals at a very reasonable price. The staff is extremely pleasant and friendly. If you're looking for a posh restaurant this is not your place. But, if you want good food, good and attentive staff with come as you are dining then this is the place. The grilled shrimp was excellent and hand cut real fries are always the best.
