We are very grateful for this locally owned and managed grocery store. Roger and his entire crew work hard to provide a nice shopping experience. We visit this store multiple times weekly, from grocery to RX and even dog treats for my K9 pal, they have what we need and are a joy to deal with.
Very nice deli, excellent meat department. Produce is fresh and well stocked. There was a specific cookie which my wife wanted and we asked and they began stocking it for us. That's the personal touch that is very hard to find anymore and we appreciate it.
With a recent knee problem, I really appreciate not having to park 1/4 mile away from the door and to have to walk hundreds of extra steps to get what we need. This store is always clean, well stocked and everyone is helpful.
Friendly smiles from the people who come to know you from being long time customers and who ask about you and your family is always nice. We also like having a choice of either self check out or a cashier to assist us. Having someone at the store remind me to get what my wife usually buys when I am stopping in for her is certainly a nice touch, because they know us that well....
Support your local small business stores as they truly are a precious resource in our community. Thanks to Roger and everyone at the store for always working hard to make each visit something special.
For those who want to be treated like a number, get in line at massive stores where you are always next in line, behind the 15 people ahead of you. When you want to go in the store, get what you need and get back home, check out Rogers.
Their pharmacy also has some of the lowest drug prices of any pharmacy in the area. Do yourself a favor and check out the potential savings for your RX needs. When you check prices, you might just be surprised to find Lower prices than any of the national chains on several common prescriptions.
Keep up the great work, everyone at Rogers......We appreciate your hard work and...
Β Β Β Read moreTHIS PLACE WILL MAKE YOU SICK. After several instances of buying lactaid I found my carton of milk was puffed out and tight with internal gas from the milk fermenting (Aka ROTTING). The carton exhales an audible puff of fermented gas upon opening. Smells and tastes bad because it's rotten. Saw literal chunks come out as I poured it down the drain, freshly bought mind you. Same with their heavy whipping cream which was comically chunky. It's been going on for years. Every time I walk by the dairy section I confirm that they are indeed always puffed out and full of gas like that. No other stores is this a issue. It's been like this since 2020 so there is literally zero chance that they are not aware. Well today a family member gave me a donut they bought from here, I cut it open and it's full of MOLD. I really cannot believe it. Everything is pricey here anyways. You'll find out why the parking lot is always empty. Whatever BS customer service response they'll have to this, save it, there is no excuse. You should not be in business if you need to sell rotten food to make a profit. This place deserves to fail.
EDIT: LOL at their response! It is NOT a blueberry cake donut. It is a regular chocolate frosted donut. You never see blueberry cake donuts with chocolate frosting, it's always the whitish, clear frosting for those. Also not purple inside like blueberry cake donuts are. And obviously those are not blueberries... I took it apart, there are zero blueberries. It's GREEN and fuzzy texture because it's MOLD. Lies, typical... these people...
Β Β Β Read moreI'd give 5 stars; the entire staff is great and always pleasant. However, there is one employee (cashier) I'm done with and gives Rogers -3 stars. This was the third rude encounter with her I've experienced in the last few months.
I refuse to use self checkout because I want to support cashiers. Today Barb at a few minutes before 7pm doesn't greet me, doesn't ask if I found everything I need... doesn't do the bare minimum cashier 101 every store in the world does.
Instead I got a heavy-breath sigh. Then Barb walks around to my side of the register and places the, "Lane Closed" sign beside me.
She rings me up. All she says, "that'll be $47.53."
I pay.
Grab my bags.
Walk out.
Drive home.
Then decided to write this review. They say for every bad review there are 100 others...
