This is not a professional business. People work hard for their money, and they expect their investment to be treated just as they would like to be treated. I came here to get a HID kit on hand, and an installation. I was given a quote and I paid the amount (not knowing anything about the kits) with an additional warranty he charged me. I was told to wait outside the work zone so I did, within 10 minutes my brand new car's lights were complete. The wheel well was bent in and torn with most of the clips missing, the left projector HID bulb was not bright and illuminated inward, while a distinct smell arose. I addressed the issue, and was told thats how the manufactures make them, I specifically told him something was burning. With every issue, an excuse was followed. Driving my car back home, I noticed a pop and I saw smoke coming from under the hood. It literally blew the left projector, I drove it back praying they would help me. Upon arrival I explained what happened, I was told that I messed with it. Furious inside, I honestly said I didn't and asked calmly what was the purpose of the warranty, and how this would happen. An excuse was followed, he told me to move my car out. I have never been so upset to write a review for anyone, but this matter has boiled me to do so at 3am. Easy money never lasts JM Kustomz, the time, quality, and respect you give to your customers can make your business flourish with only word of mouth. With my experience, I rather suffer with my historical yellows, than your cheap kits installed by unprofessionals representing an avaricious so-called business. This time around instead of them selling me whatâs in house I came with my own things I only asked for a few things to be added from their end which I was willing to pay for. The thing that made me give them a 1 star was poor customer service from the guy behind the counter, them lying, & the guy behind the counter being argumentative. When I came in to intially get a quote I was quoted $1,100 by 1 guy and on that day he told me to go home and bring my things back and they would install some of my things same day. When I came back the guy from behind the counter came out and looked at what I had and quoted me higher at $1,300 that was strike 1. Strike 2 he told me they wouldnât be able to install anything that day which is when I told him I wouldnât have never came back with my things because everything was too heavy to be walking up and down steps so we came to an agreement for a 9am appointment Saturday at about 3 hours installation time. When I get there today they say 4-6 hours so I told them yâall told me 3 hours thatâs when the guy behind the counter started saying what he claim he told me which was a LIE!! On 2/28/2013 I spent 389.67 buying light bulbs, what could go wrong? The horror story follows... JM Kuztomz caused $5000 worth of damages to my Chrysler 300 when i went in for a simple headlight replacement and fog light setup. I already had existing equipment, they just had to switch bulbs. But they blew out my $1200 HID ballasts, hot glued my headlight bulbs into the housing. Drilled extra holes in my bumper and panels and re-attached them with metal screws. Then they threw away more broken parts and left my headlights open to rain. When i tried to get a resolution they simply kicked me out and i am currently suing them.
The fact they use hot glue for metal clips and metals screws for plastic clips means they have very un-knowledgable technicians. You're better off doing it yourself!
Im not saying they try to screw things up, but if they do they wont tell you. I found out from the Chrysler dealership the next week. Thank God i didnt sign their receipt.
JM Kuztomz is not an honest place to spend your money.
By the way No money back for any reason policy, yet they do custom jobs with no Quality Assurance process in place, nor do they show you the work theyve completed or give you an opportunity to inspect it before you leave. Theyll just rush you out the door if they broke...
