The employees are nice but the owners are rude. Accused us of losing business due to equipment being returned a day late. We got into a major accident and were not able to return it on time because we only had one car to get around bear mountain. It would have took 3 hours to drive to and back and we didn't want to lose that much time from our trip. We were fully aware that we would be paying an extra day and were ok with that. So she didn't lose money as she said she did because we paid for the extra day. We actually made her more money considering that now she can rent it out on top of the extra day we paid.

Once we returned the equipment and everyone was in the car, she didn't know I was still in the restroom and was trash taking us to her employees. When she saw me, she was startled and I just walked out.

I rented it so far from bear mountain because I thought it would be very expensive up there but it was actually the same price. I would never rent from this store again if I'm visiting bear mountain because of how far (3 hour drive to and from) it is and also because of her lack of empathy. I told her my family member had crashed their car and she was still very upset that the equipment was late. She also mentioned to me that her husband had left threatening phone messages on our phone that he was gonna charge us full price and to please disregard it. Absolutely...

I visited Bigbear Lake on January 22, my birthday, and I was lucky to rent equipment from here. I couldn't move forward because I didn't have snow tires and chains. A lady near the store took me skiing. Although I had many setbacks on my return, store manager Ariel was incredibly helpful. He even offered to pick me up from Bigbear ski resort despite the difficult conditions. By the way, I am a foreigner here and I did not know the transportation rules exactly. I couldn't find an Uber or taxi. I could not return to my vehicle between 3 pm and 12 pm. I met a very good person again. A hotel employee dropped me off at my car. Meanwhile, Ariel verbally contacted nearby businesses to ensure that my vehicle would not be towed by the authorities for any reason, and left a written note with my information on my vehicle. Best shop on the mountain!!!!!!! This place is the stop for all snowboarding, skiing and mountain bike needs! The staff is so friendly and makes you feel so comfortable with any questions you have! This snow season I've gotten my board waxed there multiple times for such a great price. My next board, bindings or boots I need I will be purchasing from them, and they even do boot fittings if you do buy their boots! For mountain biking I got my bike from them and they offer so many benefits with the purchase of your bike and have all the accessories you will need!
