Military surplus stores have an ambiance many other types of stores wish they had. Comfortable is one aspect that I have felt at many, including Snyder's.

The inventory here is similar to most surplus stores, with a good mix of actual military gear plus modern replica items. From canteens & mess kits, cots, tarps, ammo cans, all sorts of nuts, bolts and hardware, to outdoor storage items from trucks to trailers and beyond.

Interesting place. Found something I was needing. However, it was EXTREMELY cluttered and fairly difficult to get around. I'm not saying don't go, because there is lots of stuff there, just go there knowing it's cluttered and not well organized and there are not always clear pathways. Honestly, they really need to pay someone to come organize...
