I've Really Been Impressed With How Far This Store Has Come Since Becoming The "Delbert's Supermarket"!! They Have REALLY Worked At Adding In More Options & Keeping The Prices Affordable & Keeping The Store Stocked & Clean & Reliable! The Staff Has Been Excellent For The Most Part & They Have Lots Of Long Term Employees Which Shows That They Are Not Only Reasonable With Their Hours & Pay But They Also Are Respectful & Appreciative Of Their Employees as well as their customers! They do their best to help hire a fair amount of the residential youth who are just starting out and looking to understand for the first time what "work experience" is & they have decent hours for those who need work after school but still close early enough to give "school attending Employees" time to complete their home work without worrying about getting to bed too late. It's also great for Older Employees who have families at home to close early enough to give them time in the evenings to sieve with their families before Supper & Bed Time. I Love How Reliable Their Hours Are & I Appreciate Their Efforts In Expanding Their Grocery Selections & The Attentiveness To Their Refrigerated Groceries & Keeping Their Refrigeration Systems Running At Accurate Temperatures For Their Products!! I've Definitely Noticed The Improvement In Purchasing Products That Are "In Date" & Not Spoiled Due To Lack Of Equipment Operation!! Also, Have To Add That: As A Low Income Household Who Relies On Help From Some Of The Grocery Supplement Programs, They Have Really Done An Outstanding Job On Making Sure That Their Registers Are Updated & Programmed To Help With The Process Of Running Their Specifically Marked Items Easily & Without Complication Which Really Means ALLOT To Those Of Us Who Need To Shop Those Items But Are Worried About The Embarassment & Potential Burden We Might Cause When We Have Items That Won't Go Through At The Register! This is hands down the best place to grocery shop in the area. If you shop smart you'll save money. Watch their specials and sales. They try to have a deal on popular items. Bacon, butter, canned goods, Chex at the holidays, drinks etc ... When you get in the rhythm of their specials you can save and keep the pantry full. I've fed weight lifters and athletes to adulthood with most of my shopping done here. The meat department will cut anything any way you're after. Whole pork loins into 2 inch chops for smoking, they get me 50 lbs of chicken thighs and andouille for gumbo. The produce is about as good as a hometown grocer can be in our area.
