Crest Haven Farm Market — Local services in Rush Township

It's taken me a few days to decide if I should post this review. I have been a customer at the Danville and Bloomsburg store for years. Every Friday they get fresh deliveries of baked goods...that's the reason I was in the Danville store this past Friday. Both stores get a lot of new products to try and I only buy my chicken from them. Their employees have always been so friendly and nice which I guess is the reason I'm still so shocked. So Friday I went in to get my cookies because Fridays are fresh delivery day. I don't like my cookies baked hard(or brown on the bottom)so I'm flipping the containers over like I've always done looking for the lightest ones when l hear from across the store "mam those cookies are fresh they just came in today"!!! At first I thought is she talking to me but it became clear to me, all the other customers in the store and the employees behind the deli she was yelling at me!!! I yelled back across the store "I know their fresh on Fridays I've been coming here for years and I only like lightly baked cookies"!!!! She walked off, I headed to the freezer section and was afraid to look in the freezers because I may get yelled at again for looking at a product. I put the four dozen cookies I had back and checked out the couple things I had. I made up my mind I will never shop at the crest haven Danville store ever again. UPDATED REVIEW: It's been my observation after shopping here over a period of time that much of the staff is simply miserable. Customer service is the WORST aspect of this otherwise decent country store. If it's not arrogant younger staff with horrible service skills, it's older people who hate what they're doing and hate you for being there.

I will blame management and ownership for FAILING to provide the proper atmosphere to sustain pleasant employees and a welcoming place for customers.

I can't help but notice how they look at people as if they're disgusted with your very presence. Maybe they just dislike me? I can't understand why? I've never had a problem and always try to be friendly and complimentary. I don't need the toxic attitude so I'm going to look for a different store with similar products. I've been to Crest Haven't Market on a ton of occasions but this is the first time I've been asked to do a review. This review is based on my previous visits because it would NOT be fair for me to base it on todays stop. I was way too early unsure of what time they opened plus the "Covid-19 pandemic" is still "blooming". Crest Haven Market is a great place for anything you want or need that's farm fresh. They have a great selection of "homemade" baked goods and bulk items that are priced lower than what you are going pay at the big box, as well as items the big box doesn't carry, my fav is the bulk bags of marshmallow for my chocolate lucky charms.
