We rented the pavillion for our wedding. A new manager Edie took over just a few weeks before our big day. At first she seemed very pleasant. Boy were we fooled. We called and asked Edie I'd we could get in Friday night to decorate if nothing was going on that night. She said just give me a call and I'll come up and let you in. No one answered phone during normal business hours that night. I explained everything we were decorating with to a tee, let them know the wedding party would be there from noon to four having cocktails and snacks before the reception started at four. When we got there they said we couldn't have cocktails till four that's when the bartender will be there. Hmmmm. She said we couldn't light none of the candles even though they were in mason jars and water. We paid for clean up but did it all but take the trash to the dumpster Edie hurried up and grabbed it. I guess so they would not have to refund any money. Everything was going fine till Edie showed up. She came in swearing for no reason said we stole her spoon even though we had our own utensils. It was our 3rd year going to have Breakfast with Santa. They serve pancakes, sausage links, orange juice, chocolate milk, hot chocolate, coffee, and water. Santa sits up front by the fireplace and christmas tree with an old beautiful suit on. The kids can go up, talk, and take pics with him. The Shiawassee conservation club is a fantastic place! My wife and I just put our boys through the archery program and it was actually phenomenal! I can’t say enough good things about these people they have extreme patience, a very high understanding whats going on, and an extreme amount of knowledge!
