This year is my third consecutive year going to moultons orchard. The first time I ever came here I went on a wednesday - obviously not knowing their hours. I walked up to the front to ask about picking apples and the owners asked if they could help me with something. I asked if I could pick some apples. The owners grabbed me a bucket and a bag and showed me where to pick. I asked her if its been busy today and she replied, were technically closed Monday-wednesday. I apologized and said I didn't know the hours. She was extremely kind and wasn't bothered at all. After picking apples quickly and paying, I asked what kinds of apples they have here? Her husband then gave me an entire tour of the different apples and fruits they have, and even let me pick and try every different type. I felt like I was family. It was an absolute amazing experience. And I can't believe it was on a day they were closed. And now, on year 3 I went back over the weekend to pick honeycrisp apples. While picking enough to fill 2 bags, I noticed 2 HUGE apples up high where I was picking. By far the biggest apples I've ever picked here. I already filled my 2 bags but I brought the 2 big apples with me. Hoping I can just pay a couple bucks for the extra two. When paying I showed the owners just how big the 2 were. After paying for the 2 bags they let me have the 2 big ones for free. This place always treats there customers like family and always puts a smile on your face. No matter who is working the day. If you haven't been to moultons orchard, you're certainly missing out. It's very tough nowadays to find such outstanding customer service. Thank you Moultons, I will definitely be coming back multiple...

If you're looking for an apple picking experience away from the large crowds, head over to Moulton's in Rush City. Alos, you can't miss the nearby school with a great playground...
