I highly recommend Capital City BBQ for any event! This is our 2nd time working with Garry and Capital City, and the service and food quality was perfect, just as it was the first time. Everyone loved the food and it was delivered on time and with everyone promised. The delivery manager went out of her way to set it up for our party and made sure we had everything we needed. Garry was so kind and helpful as always, sharing honest opinions about what he felt our party needed. He was able to make this work during an already busy Labor Day weekend for his business, going above and beyond to make our party a success. And above all - the food is delicious. Capital City BBQ will always be our go-to choice for catering!

We had our wedding welcome party catered in Sept 2022 and the food and service exceeded our expectations. People were raving about the food all weekend! Garry was incredibly helpful and kind from our first call - sharing what he thought would be best for our party in terms of menu choices and quantity (and not trying to oversell us!). He knows his stuff, and his experience helped us plan the perfect evening. The food arrived and was set-up exactly when and how they said it would be....

I cannot recommend Garry and his team from Capital City BBQ enough! They catered our wedding at Saratoga State Park and it was nothing but ease working with them from start to finish. Garry was patient when we asked him a zillion questions throughout the 8 months of planning. He was confident throughout the whole process, and encouraged us that things would go as planned. We were of course worried because it was our first wedding and first time coordinating a large event, but he put us at ease. He is excellent at communicating and would answer texts and calls quickly.

When the big day finally came, his team was prepared, quick, organized, efficient, and incredibly kind. On top of the excellent service, the food was fantastic. We had burgers, sausage and peppers, brisket, grilled chicken, corn bread, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and baked beans. Everything was fantastic, so many people commented on how delicious everything was. The policy at Saratoga State Park is “carry in, carry out” and Capital City BBQ was sure to “leave no trace”. I would not hesitate to hire them in the future for another event.

I must tell you that the catering done by Garry and Capital City BBQ for my daughter's wedding June 8th was absolutely the BEST!! There was plenty of food, the setup was beautiful, and each dish delicious! And the staff was top notch!! None of them overlooked a single detail, keeping the food hot, neat, and full. They were constantly in touch with me, asking if there was anything I needed or didn't like. My answer was always, "No! It's all perfect"!! When I was told they'd leave the place looking like it was when they got there, they were incorrect!! They left it looking better!!
