Prairie Street Pub — Local services in Russell

My daughter and I arrived at 5 PM when they opened. Very busy lots of people waiting very popular.

We went New Year's Eve and ordered the steak and shrimp special the steak was perfectly cooked as well as a shrimp very much enjoyed our dinner.

This is a place I definitely will go back to and will bring my children.

It has a small pool table which they may have to take out to provide more seating as there's not a lot of seating.

Prices were very fair waitresses were excellent.

Heard about Prairie Street Pub's Brunch in small town USA, Russell, Iowa, It proved to be tasteful dining. There were six in our party, and two of the couples were returning. Now we know why! The Prime rib Hoagie had been highly recommended. To our disappointment, they had run out. But there were plenty of tempting dishes on the menu. Today, we all choose sandwiches. From the Carolina Pulled Pork, BBQ Chicken Hoagie, French Dip, and the Southwest Nachos. Amazing food! The Pub was clean and enough seating for a good crowd. It's a very interesting place! It's a little pub style restaurant in the middle of a little town that's just kind of in the middle of nowhere. They have a small menu but it's packed with some incredible dishes. The Boarsin Chicken over a rice pilaf was really good, my wife liked her chicken & biscuits over mashed potatoes & gravy, & my daughter really liked her Uptown Mac & Cheese. This is definitely a place I'd recommend checking out if you're down...
