Trust me go somewhere else for dog food Exposure to air and humidity can speed up the rate at which dog foods degrade. As fats and proteins break down in air/moisture, they become rancid, and are at risk for bacterial contamination. You can prevent spoilage by sealing the dog food bag up tight.Bought beef & rice diamond naturals went home to feed opened up the bag & could immediately smell stale dog food. Called in to negotiate an exchange & was greeted kindly by Ruben who was polite & understanding. Upon arrival we were met with Beverly the store manager who treated me very poorly & said the food smelled like dog food...mmm no it did not. Spent gas & was treated as though I did returns for a living . She also told me I couldn't exchange again. She upset my PTSD extremely as I suffer dearly to the point any negative experiences affect my sleep habits night terrors. As I set the new bag of chicken and rice on the counter I asked to smell before purchasing she cut it open & I could smell it was good. Long story short I gritted my teeth the whole way home with tears pouring down my face. Frustrated & enraged at the cruelness this woman displayed I know now Ateoods needs better management. chewy I'm coming back. Atwood's good luck. WE...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust giving y'all a heads up about buying Baby Chicks From Atwoods in Rissellville... My husband & I are so upset. We went Friday to buy some baby chicks. Just a few hours later one of them died. Called atwoods they said they would give us another one since the one died within 24 hours of us purchasing them. Ok Saturday morning we went to go get the new replacement one. I was ok with that. But did see a red flag here here, as 2 were dead in the Atwoods brooder box and the guy who got the one they were giving is to replace the one we had that died, just left the dead ones in the brooder box like he did not even care. By Saturday afternoon 2 more died and by, today (Monday morning) yet a 4th one has died. These baby chicks cost us $48. But so far this is a $26. Loss for us ( hoping & praying no more die) because Atwoods will only replace if they die within 24 hours of you buying them. Which to me is not right. Even PetSmart gives you 14 days to replace a bird that dies. Something is seriously wrong with these baby chicks all dying like this. They are not healthy. So be warned if you're considering buying baby chicks from AtWoods. Maybe consider buying them...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIn 2019, my husband bought me an awesome-looking pair of steel toed boots that cost $100 for my new job. I discovered very quickly that the shoes would need insoles because the bottom of my boots were just so hard. Another thing I discovered rather quickly was that my boots were not slip-resistant. I suppose thatās my own fault for not checking for that before making the purchase, and I also didnāt know I needed that because I didnāt know that my new job would involve me working with an oil-based solution, making floors and other surfaces incredibly slick. Needless to say, I slipped a few times in those shoes, but I still wear them because they were so expensive. This was the only isolated purchase I made there irregularly. I regularly visit this store once a month in order to buy specific items that I cannot purchase elsewhere, and I am generally satisfied with these monthly purchases. I was a thrown off a little when they reorganized the store, making it difficult to find my items. I have this theory: If it aināt broke, donāt fix it. There was nothing wrong with the old layout...
