Love them as a beekeeping shop but they referred a bad company for bee removal “2 that do” …. A father and son team that did a horrible job … charged us 908.00 dollars … “never got the Queen bees” which means the bees were NOT removed … left part of hive still up in soffits … never replaced all boards as invoice stated … sold us brand newly built long hive that already is developing mold under lid … we were suppose to have 30 brand new boards but only got 20 😡. They refuse to answer our calls or respond back to us. Their only response is to call us mentally unstable (thinking this gives them legal reasons then to not complete job), and to say they never charged us to remove hive … so they say … yet I was invoiced 908.00 dollars then for them to chop up my soffits all over GUESSING where the bees might be, instead of using a thermal scope to locate bees, … never put back all boards as invoice stated … took them 2 1/2 months to find time to do job … never conversed back properly …. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE !! Please central bee keepers DO NOT refer people unless you can personally be responsible for their work - I’m out 908.00 dollars / still have bees in soffits … never put all boards back … chopped up my soffits looking for hives because they didn’t have proper equipment… the beehive they sold me is not weather proofed … didn't get all my boards and in reality they are actually...

You will NOT find better service than Central Beekeepers Supply. John & Corinne are beyond knowledgeable, professional, helpful, & friendly. All of their staff deserves be commended: Jody, Blakely, Cora (hope I haven’t left anyone out!); they are all so kind & provide superior customer service!!!

And oh my…..their patience with our thousands of “newbie” questions & their genuine passion to help us succeed makes the almost 4 hour round trip for us most definitely worth it! It’s such a blessing to still have a local family owned business where you can go & see, touch & learn about the products in person when so many companies are moving towards online shopping. Their selection is huge, everything under the sun for beginner-to-professional beekeepers as well as lovely bee themed decor, books, tasty goodies (try the Honey Hot Sauce!), & gifts for the bee enthusiasts. I cannot recommend Central Beekeepers Supply enough….. my only wish is that we...

We were heading west on I-40 on our way home from an alpaca rescue mission and spotted their billboard out on the interstate. We were needing a break and a distraction from the events of the day, and we're beekeepers too so why wouldn't we want to stop in?!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and shopping the vast selection of equipment, clothing, and gifts. We did a little Christmas shopping :-) We stayed around for almost an hour sharing stories and photos and beekeeping info. We even showed the girls our very lucky alpaca.

These folks are delightful and it was well worth taking time to venture off the highway to visit the store! Great place folks! We are glad you're here to help. I wish we had such a store in our area (near Joplin, MO)!
