Algonquin Lake Party Store — Local services in Rutland Charter Township

Very grateful for this out of the way location. I'd give higher stars but tonight I learned the store locks its doors at 7:55 (tonight it was locked at 7:54). This is evidently because tje clerk is not paid to be in the store one minute past 8pm. To the management...please pay your employees to be there until 8:15 so they can keep doors open until 8. Or, please update your hours on Google maps. I drove a long way to get there and was turned away. The clerk was kind enough to make an exception so I could make a quick purchase because I didn't take no for an answer, banged in the door and complained. Sorry aboutnthst to the nice clerk! I was still out of the store by 7:57 but I see that this is unduly stressful on your staff. Some people will dawdle and hang around too long. Its not fair to staff or customers to only pay until 8 but also have posted closing hour of 8pm. If some action is taken I will...
