I want to share my deep disappointment after visiting your farm. When I came to you, I saw your huge peach orchard just about thirty meters away from your store. I am a pregnant woman, and I picked a single peach to taste it. Moreover, at every farm I visit here, they always have baskets with samples, and you can easily try before you buy. This is normal business practice ā to let customers know what they are paying for.
But when I went into the store after my purchases, they started scolding me, telling me how badly I behaved and how disrespectful it was to pick that peach, and that if everyone did it, it would be bad. They said all this to me over one tiny peach that will be rotting on the ground in two weeks anyway.
I was shocked. I am not used to this kind of behavior, especially from people who openly declare their faith in God, love, and good deeds. I believe that faith in God is shown first and foremost in how you treat people, especially those who come to you with good intentions and support your work.
No one runs a business like that. This is more than just being petty. You have millions of peaches that will soon rot on the ground, and you canāt let a person try one. As a business, you are supposed to let people taste your products. I was honestly shocked that I was told off about this. I have never encountered anything like this in my entire life. I will never come back to you again and I wonāt recommend anyone else to come either. Normally, I make large purchases, and I had only just found your farm ā a week and a half ago and again last week I made very large wholesale purchases from you. I was planning to continue buying from you in bulk, but after this situation I do not want to support your business, and I do not want to return to people like this ever again.
Here is an example from my experience. I was in a store where they sold bread, and I asked if I could try that bread to see if I liked it or not. They told me they didnāt have samples, but when they saw I was pregnant, they specially brought homemade bread from home so I could try it. These people donāt attend church every Sunday, but they have kind hearts and genuine kindness. And hereāthere is a huge orchard of peaches that will be rotting on the ground in two weeks, and they donāt even let customers try themāalthough itās a normal practice to allow people to taste before buyingābut to a pregnant woman, they said no for just one...
