I love the Rancho Sahuarita community and the clubhouse is the center hub of everything.
They have the Olympic size swimming pool with shallow areas and seating around the edge for young kids and families.
The splash pad is a playground waterpark with plenty of water squirting all around and a giant red bucket that tips over and makes a huge splash once it's filled up.
There are also 3 waterslides and a jacuzzi spa which make this a favorite place for the entire family to cool off on a hot day.
The club house has a nice gym. They offer weekly exercise classes of all kinds. Go by the front desk to pick up a schedule.
They play movies regularly for the family with complementary popcorn and movies outside on certain days during the summer.
Once a month they have a small farmers market on the side by the lake with food trucks.
In addition to the lake, park, tennis and basketball courts, and playground... There's also a miniature golf course.
They have a daycare area for young kids ($2 per hour for up to 2 hours at a time) and a kids club where kids over 7 can do homework, play games including Nintendo, Xbox, Playstation, pinball), and socialize under supervision which doesn't cost anything.
You can also reserve part of the clubhouse for private events and parties.
Staff is always friendly...
Read moreI've lived in Rancho Sahuarita for 6 months and my family has been so pleased with our experience. It is a bit further of a drive to Tucson than preferred, but it's a great location for Raytheon employees and for active families. It will continue to be a great location as more is built here. The amenities from kids time, pools, splash pad, water park, gym classes, activities, trails, landscaping, and many parks are fantastic. I've rented for over 10 years but this place is a unicorn. Yes, the HOA fees are higher than most places but there is so much to enjoy here. It's also easy to meet friendly people here.
I would like to give a special shout out to 3 associates who are just awesome: -Martin at the front desk-I met him on my first visit and he gave me a tour of the clubhouse. He greets me by name every time I check in and is such a friendly employee. -Kayla at Kids Time is so joyful and kind and makes me feel at ease leaving my toddler daughter to play. She has come to love it and with employees like Kayla, I can see why! -John, the HOA rep-John was so gracious and professional in addressing a safety concern in our neighborhood. He validated our concerns, took action to escalate the issues and reported the updates back to me within one...
Read moreI have so many friends with kids who are moving to Arizona, looking for a community to be a part of. They see my pictures and want to be part of it all. Then, I tell them that kids aren't allowed in the hot tubs and they automatically decide not to. 😅 I think parents can decide whether their kids can go in the hot tubs or not. Our baths are hotter than the hot tubs. So many moms just want to relax. Kids don't stay in the hot tubs for that long anyway, they get bored. It would be nice if the moms could relax for ten minutes while playing in the pool with their kids. I know some of the really grumpy old people want to be alone and complain, but those people can afford their own hot tub by that age. Moms of little kids can't. They are the reason we have code Brown so often, right? The slides and splash park is only open three months of the year, ya'll. Before moving here, they made it sound like it's...
