My fiance was just in there and was told that he might need to microwave the bag of candy he bought because it had gone past the use by date! This was said by an employee! This would a 10 star place if they got rid of Mary, unfortunately she's part owner! She accuses people of shoplifting when they haven't!

January, 19, 2019 Update- Mary's at it again, this time lieing to customers! A man asked if the sandwich in the cooler had been made this morning, she said yes! It was made the day before! Indian Lake Market is the best of what a small town grocery and convenience store shoud be. It is clean and tidy; it stocks just about any item you might ever need, from baking supplies to insect repellent to the best craft beer selection in the area. The owners and employees are friendly, helpful, and full of good information and advice! The take out deli area has excellent pizza and sandwiches. Really it is fun to just peruse the aisles and realize there are items you didn't know you needed but are glad you found! The store of my childhood! A lot has changed since the 90’s but they still have the perfect ham Italian that brings on some heavy nostalgia, memories of swimming at the lake! AND they have the best Hawaiian pizza that I have ever had anywhere (other than with fresh pineapple) Mary is a sweetheart with a sharp edge 😉.
