Buyer beware:
Many of the store items lack a price tag or shelf tag Some of the consumable items are well past their expiration date, by at least 2 months. At the checkout counter the price of items scanned is not displayed to the customer, nor are the cashiers trained to announce the total. However, they are trained to ask if the customer would like a receipt. If the customer says yes, they must also specify that they want an itemized receipt. Otherwise, the customer will receive a receipt for a mysterious 'total' that doesn't always match up with a re-scan of the items. Thus, the potential customer should make sure to examine products for quality, price check the items before checking out, and specifically ask for an itemized receipt.
