Bundy's Up In Smokehouse — Local services in Salem Township

Bundy's is probably my favorite food related place in Western PA. They are always so friendly when I am in there and even know me by name now. The marinated steaks, are the best I have ever had. They are so tender, I have to get them cooked thicker so they don't fall apart on the grill. My family makes me bring them camping every year now as they live up north, I have to get about 20 steaks to cook over the fire. I also bought a prime this year for christmas and cooked it per the instructions from Holly and Dave. I purchased the Rub they use and everything, it came out amazing. The best thing of all however is the Beef Jerky. It is the best I have ever had. I now have to take some with me whenever I travel to give to the others I have gotten hooked on it. The only thing I will say is not everyone loves the marinade they use on the steaks. I have to bring one steak un-marinated camping. However I will still get it from bundy's as the steaks themselves are high quality, and I know they always source locally...

Don't upset the owner or his girlfriend, the owner cursed me out over the phone when I called and wanted to know why my order wasn't done yet, when he told me when it was dropped off that it would be done weeks earlier. And when I was there today his girlfriend yelled at me today when I said that the owner told my husband when he dropped off the deer (October 6th) that he would try to get it done by thanksgiving she got even louder yelling at me and told me that she is black listing us from ever getting anything done there again. They must have so much business that they turn people away and talk to...

Horrible attitude. Dropped meat off mid November told it would be a couple of weeks. Called around Christmas then told they were closed for holidays and I would be the first one done after New Years.
