Ritter's Farm Market (Hamlin Store) — Local services in Salem Township

Do you like healthy & fresh food? Ritter's in Paupack township is fabulous. Fresh veggies and other fine products abound. Today we made our zucchini (yellow and green), tomatoes, onions, herbs (from our deck), small sweet pepper, slice of bell pepper, seasoned with store bought herbes de province and small amount of salt. We also use cheddar cheese liberally, though never on the pot bottom. Cook on medium heat, if usually takes about 25 minutes. Do not let it boil, adjust accordingly. Done when yellow zucchini near top begins to soften. Turn off, move to cool spot on stove, let stand for5 minutes and serve with seasoned, smaller sized croutons. Ritters is a longtime farmer's market type shop carrying seasonal local produce, flowers (in season), a small selection of meats and cheeses, varying refrigerated and frozen items, a small selection of speciality pet items and candles, a deli carrying Boar's Head items, and a wide selection of their own brand assorted salad dressings, marinades, pickled items, salsa, jams and jellies, bean salads etc. They have varying and limited selections of outdoor, seasonal wooden decor. They also have a seasonal ice cream stand.

The pancakes are called apple cinnamon pancake mix on the label however upon further investigation and beginning cooking there was NO apple included. What do we look like Apple farmers?
