Glenvar Minute Market — Local services in Salem

I have been coming here several times a week for about a year. I always get the same thing, Breakfast biscuit and/or a large salad. The salad is my favorite thing, this restaurant quality salad fills me up for $8. It has all the goods with broccoli, cucumber, tomato, bacon, egg, cheese, meat and homemade ranch. Ive only gotten it one time when it was not fresh, john replaced it for me no problem. I can not speak for the rest of the food bc I am very picky and try to avoid fried. Based on some other reviews, i think Its important to mention that this is prepared food, not made per order. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is clean, it's handicap accessible and has some booths for a peaceful lunch break.

Unfortunately after being acquired by new ownership in the last year prices have substantially increased on everything in the store and the quality of the food in the deli has declined. Not many of the original friendly faces that have been working this location for years stayed. Hopefully new ownership will decide to forgo a little profit too better serve the local community rather...

Chicken Philly lunch special with cheesey potatoes and Mac and cheese bites... Without a doubt this was the worst meal I have had in years... Really hate to say but actually completely disgusting... The sub was a soggy mess nothing like a Philly, potatoes cold Mac and cheese bites ok... Definitely not a place I would recommend for someone to get lunch or eat from deli ....
